If I remember correctly, there is a mechanic where if you see a butterfly or some other flying creature and get close enough to it, it will drop one.

I believe it’s the fairy that you have to find from the statue of blessings! EDIT: It’s actually called the prismatic butterfly which, once you find her, disappears and you get gold and there’s a small percentage you get a prismatic shard instead
