A couple days ago I beat Golem and started farming for the Prismatic Lacewing summons in anticipation of fighting daytime Empress. Currently I'm at 107 summons, but do you guys think this will be enough?
I remember a YouTuber try to do it (I don't remember if it was WaffleTime or Happy Days or somebody else), but they needed about 210-220 attempts or something. If it'll really take me that many tries to beat it, I'm gonna be in for a long run.
P.S. I've been making farming less tedious with Bloody Tears and a Water Candle to up the spawn rates. I should probably use battle potions too.

5 or 6, by this time you should see a pattern, if you don’t see a pattern, you are of the other type of player that it takes much more attempts.

About 30. I decided to give her one last go with an idea I had. I dug a wide hellevator and put a platform at the bottom. Started the fight and jumped in. As I fell I threw everything I had at her pausing my fall occasionally to let her catch up. Beat her first try this way.
