I see a lot of game crossovers and think “Wow one of these really got the short end of the stick here” but these two are lovely both cute little side quests nothing too complicated, just right

Terraria is a game I want to play, on paper, but every time I’ve tried(ps4 don’t really game on pc yet), it feels so clunky and I don’t want to play it

Reading through these comments, it’s kinda wild to me so few people seem to be aware Terraria did a crossover with Stardew Valley. Granted, it wasn’t nearly as large scale as Terraria’s cross overs with Don’t Starve or Dungeon Defenders. (Not like Stardew has any boss fights that could’ve been added to Terraria) But as an avid fan of both games, I think it’s delightful I can have a Junimo or Blue Chicken as a cosmetic pet in Terraria. The late game Terraria sword, Meowmere was also added to Stardew but I prefer hammer/club type weapons over sword type weapons in Stardew.
Maybe Stardew x Minecraft would have been a more natural feeling crossover. Imagine Creepers having a chance to spawn in the Skull Caverns or being able to load Ender Pearls into your slingshot to quickly get around. Meanwhile, they could add a bunch of new crop items from Stardew to Minecraft, maybe as a way to make Sniffers more useful. Stardrops, Qi Beans, Ancient Fruit and/or Sweet Gem Berries could all be added rather seamlessly as seeds you could get exclusively from Sniffers that could give your character temporary buffs when consumed.

Terraria is an incredible game. If anyone is obsessed with just the mining aspect of Stardew then I HIGHLY recommend Terraria. Definitely not gonna be for everyone though as it is very challenging.

Core Keeper has a lot of references to Terraria and Stardew. It’s awesome, especially since Core keeper is basically a mashup of the two games

That font gives me a headache. Good to see this so I don’t waste my time getting it.

Awww, the crossover goes both ways. That’s so cute. I don’t play Terraria so I would never have seen this, thanks for sharing.

I’m confused…is this stardew or terraria? I’ve never played terraria that’s why I ask.

I love this crossover, I grew up playing Terraria and now I play Stardew Valley constantly. Stardew also has its own crossover with Terraria in 1.6 which is pretty cool

There’s a crossover with terraria in stardew also but it’s a spoiler
