I heard the whimper noise that it makes whenever it's close to you so I thought, nope I'm not going further into that cave. But when he attacked he seemed usually fast and aggressive. Is that supposed to happen?
Yes, it’s a dweller mod, that’s the whole point. Small build up (whimper) then chase (it WILL outrun you) and finishing with loud death (you’ve met a terrible fate didn’t you?).
If you don’t want this to happen again, best advise is to just delete the mod, there isn’t really a way to properly evade it (other then not playing the game)
