Are you recreating map from Project Zomboid? The prison near Rosewood looks very similar to that!
Regarding your question, if you are on 1.19.2 there is mod Biome in the Jar. It allows you to take one biome and place it anywhere in the world. So you can choose the grass color whatever you like, go to the biome, “take its color”, and then spread it across your base. But I think monsters will start spawning because it is a different biome now. You can try another mods, called Torch Master or MegaTorch, they prevent spawning of monsters in the specific area
