The mob vote being discontinued does not necessarily mean the losers of past mob votes are coming back. It just means no more mob votes will be held.

They did the mob votes because for each block, mob or whatever Mojang adds, they have to do a ton of paperwork for Microsoft, and it’s probably way more tedious than adding the new things for themselves. That’s why Mojang spends like a year in making an update that a modder would finish in a week or so
