Found this method yesterday, basically, you trap 16 alleys under a campfire and then splash them with the infested potion, spawning 16 silverfish with each tick of damage, making it the most overpowered XP farm.
make sure not to build it out of any type of stone, because they will infest them.
later in the tutorial, the guy will push a block on top of the alleys with a piston, replace that with an upper slab instead, it works better to prevent silverfishes from leaking.

Considering how much harder allays are to get then endermen, I would say it’s still not the best farm ever
