Why is my server on this screen so long and how do I fix it
My modded Java server, with a few texture packs, is stuck on this screen for like 5 minutes at least, and it’s causing me to die because I’m technically in the game, just loading this, how to fix?

Install a mod called “remove reloading screen”

for texture packs, loading 5 can take a moment so you should just wait in a safe location
Once it has gathered up all the textures used in the modpack it stitches it into one big image for fast referencing, from my understanding. This delay now saves you much more time while you are playing to deliver a smoother experience.
But ya waiting sucks. Happy gaming!
go to your server recource packs folder and if there’s multiple rename the folder and redownload the server recouce pack, then take the file and add a .zip extension and put it in your normal recource packs folder and disable server recource packs for your client this way its instant but it wont update if the server pack updates
