Additional question: According to the stardew wiki, ducks on my other farm (Riverland) would survive without grass because they will find something to eat while swimming by the river. However, why do some of the ducks occasionally become irate and complain that I don’t feed them while the others don’t? I expect them to find food in the river, which is why I don’t feed them. Essentially, why is the game’s “eating by the river” aspect become so inconsistent?

I was thinking because you left them out the day before? If you closed the doors they will stay outside the next day
