Bit more context: You cant replace the cyan wool with a target block because thats the inside wall. there is a stone button on the other side of the lamp. when the button is pressed i want it to be a T flip flop in a one wide space going sideways. My solution is on the other slide.

How I would do it.
Step 1: remove all redstone behind the wall
Step 2: replace the lamp with a copper bulb
Done 😉
can you replace the redstone block with a solid block and put a torch under it?
can you replace the lamp with a copper bulb and remove every other block?
Place a copper bulb with a comparator leading out of it into the bulb.
Replace the block below the lamp with a target block?
