GregTech just scratches this itch that other modded Minecraft was only tickling for me. Everything is just so damn satisfying and works more or less exactly how you’d want it to once you know what you’re doing. The most daunting recipes come together effortlessly once you finally give in and just start making progress.
This is gonna sound ***really*** *stupid*, but GregTech is like the Dark Souls of Minecraft mods. A lot of people are a bit scared to try them, and they both have nuanced mechanics that take some learning to really make the most of, but *damn* if they aren’t the best experiences in the world once you really get into them. They just blow everything else in the genre out of the water, but so many people are scared to try them because of how intimidating they seem to be. Really, all it takes is a bit of persistence and you’re in for the time of your life.
