Can anyone help me with this problem I am having with the Eureka! ships! mod? Generated ships are too deep in the water despite added floaters.

This is 1.16.5 and the other mods I am using are part of the Insane Craft mod pack on Forge. No matter how many floaters I add the ship stays too deep under water. I did not make this ship it is naturally generated in the world. Another issue is that the wheel on the helm disappears when assembling the ship entity.
