Why did this red wire appear after i bought an actuator (crimson biome, medium size journey world if that’s relevant)
I didn’t buy anything from the mechanic in this world until right now, I have no idea where the wire leads to or what it does, is this some kind of glitch?

you appear to be underground, by any chance was there a trap once where this house is now?
There was probably a trap there before you built that house, the wires only show up when you are holding a wiring component.
There was likely a boulder trap there. If there was, there should be an extra 3 wires at the top on one side.
