Hi! I have a gf and we're a queer couple. She's the one who introduced me in this game. I wanted to give her a simple gift, a stardew valley inspired keychain. Which is more romantic? The mermaid's pendant or the wedding ring? Im thinking that the mermaid's pendant is unique but the wedding ring's color scheme is pride like.

The wedding ring is in fact prode themed, but the mermaid pendant is so iconic to the game, a true and unique symbol of love. I would give her the mermaid pendant. But also hear me out: how about…a pride scheme mermaid pendant? So like a rainbow one instead of blue?
I think the mermaid pendant is more unique but they are both a romantic idea.
Off course we don’t know the details of your relationship but I am going to make the assumption here that your significant other knows the ingame meaning of gifting them to the significant other.

Maybe the prismatic shard would work better given they are a universally loved gift (few exceptions) and its colorful.
What is the wedding ring for? Can we also propose with that?

The mermaid pendant I think is more “original” since it’s not the classical ring.
I would go with the mermaid pendant because it is more iconic. It shows up in both multiplayer and singleplayer games.
That said, I wouldn’t recommend giving it to your girlfriend unless you wanted to treat it like a promise ring or some form of commitment. Some folks propose irl with those things.
