Either I'm deaf, or he forgot to add the part where he said he used a gamerule to boost the max speed of minecarts. Yes, they have been boosted GREATLY, but they can't do that if you don't "cheat", even though gamerules are most of the time not cheating, just QoL, like this.
Cannon launching minecarts you can use em like mail get a chest minecart build this and you can send this to your neighbors and they can do the same thing
Remember how they revert minecart change in the past because they broke some people's roller coasters? Now they just casually broke redstone
