Minecraft Preview 1.21.30.23 added the bundle after FOUR YEARS. Alongside the bundle we have new redstone updates, new block updates, nether changes, end updates, and more! Hmm. I think I did remember the bundles were first crafted with just one piece of leather and string in Bedrock in caves and cliffs?
Im thinking how the bundle will work in the mobile version
I assume the new command for minecarts will only be in Java. Similar to the Tick Rate command, sadly.

Java Players are always so confused when Mojang refers to blocks in Education Edition… Underwater TNT is a separate block in Education Edition that will explode in water and destroy blocks as if the water was air.

I honestly like the idea of rabbit hide being used to upgrade bundles, it's maybe a little harder to get than leather, but it would be a great reason to seek it out.

I think they could make bundle upgradable to hold 64 of any item even those that only stack to 1 normally or even allow you to store shulker boxes in your bundle

upgradable bundles should be a thing
Bundles could also be dyed the same way leather armor is (cauldron with water and dye)
I suppose they'll have to update the azalea tree if they're getting rid of the leaves and leaves2 block names since its feature specifies them as blocks the azalea is allowed to grow through when generating. The compatability versioning will help with that for a while but I have to imagine the azalea will require an engine version bump at some point.

I agree with the being able to size up and coloring the bundle idea, also you should be able to craft the bundle with either leather or rabbit hide
Just need a bundle block so we can place the bundle, interact with the bundle in the world, and break the bundle so we can put it back in our inventory.
It would then suddenly be the beginners Shulker Box
