im new . and im too scared to start my own world bcs what if my computer broke or smthg and my world dissapear forever 🥲 . is there ways to save and backup the singleplayer world?

(i just join huge server so far so i can join anytime and build and show to people)

  1. Yes. If you go to your windows search function and type in “%appdata%” (without the commas ofc) you’ll open a folder where all your program data is held. Now look for the .minecraft folder. Inside you’ll find another folder called “saves”. Inside THAT one you’ll find all your worlds, named exactly the same as in game. If you copy the file you want to save and move it somewhere else, you’ll create a backup

  2. When playing singleplayer you can easily back up your worlds.
    In the Minecraft folder there is a folder called “saves” and in there there are all your different worlds.
    You can copy one of those folders and paste it in somewhere else, so if anything goes wrong in your world you can delete the original world file and just move the folder you copied and moved somewhere else back in your saves folder. (Don’t forget to copy that one again so you always have a backup) :3
