It just seems to get bigger the more I hack at it. Worst case I accept this doesn’t tile and get rid of the middle but I’d rather not if there’s another option

Edit: Actually I think the piston one does trigger the dispenser it just sometimes spits out the bottle without actually using it on the beehive?

Ok so you may be dealing with a bug unfortunately turned feature called quasi connectivity. It’s like an invisible space above a block that depending on how you power things will lock the dispenser.

I had a problem trying to do dispensers above a beehive too. I’m not actually 100% sure it is that cause copper bulbs shouldn’t be powering it that way.

If a solution can’t be found Id just say just cut your losses and try a new angle. As I struggled to power dispensers that way as well

If a solution can be found I want to take notes as I have the same problem. I made one that’s possible only in bedrock cause of this dumb bug.

TLDR quasi connectivity shenanigans possibly at play. Definitely is for the piston with redstone block one but unsure with the observer one.

  3. That is because honey bottles gets sucked in by empty bottles that are in the dispensers. You have to extract the honey from the dispensers.
