    I use xalis books and potions and vanilla tweaks offers a banner pattern fix. Both work on older versions of java which is great for me as I play a lot of modded versions which aren't always super current. They also work without optifine if you use custom item texture mods like CITResewn for example. Would highly recommend these packs to anyone.

    I don't like that it changes the book texture(there are ones that are great like the Soul Speed), but still, I like a lot about the core concept of the idea… and I bet Mojang can do something great following this direction.

    the one thing i don't like about the unique enchanted book texture concepts that is they always look too cluttered, we need a more subtle way to identify the books

    What about books that you can get with fishing they dont have single enchants generally, what would they look like?

    What about books with multiple enchantments? Just use the first one? Or maybe the enchantment with the highest level?

    Meh, I like uniformity, Lol

    When more than one effect is on the book, the texture immediately fails to make full sense. This inconsistency is frustrating and makes this feature somewhat meh, in my eyes.

    For things that can't mix, like banner patterns, I dig it

    i don't like the enchanted book resource book, they're too flashy 🙁

    i think it would be better if they were more simplified, that's how Minecraft's style works, it's simple

    I don't really like the idea of each enchanted book having its own texture because it makes it more difficult for the eye kinda. Or maybe it could be more subtle.

    You don't actually need Optifine to run Xali's Enchanted Book resource pack.
    If you have a Fabric installation of Minecraft, you can just download OptiGUI and it will work.
    Same for every other mod that requires Optifine for textures and stuff.
    You can get almost all Optifine additions to Fabric and some of them in an even cooler way, like bro Zoomify is so much cooler than Optifine Zoom I love it!!!!!!

    Honestly I don't really like new textures of banners, they look too simple now.
    There was a mod which makes the same thing, but it adds to already existing texture.
    But here, they completely remade it 🗿

    What would you do for books with multiple enchantments? Would it be better to use the first? Random? Highest level? Or is there a better system to use, or let players change it?
