Hello, I’d like to hold myself accountable to not knowing that I could go past Leah’s house and get to the beach instead of going all the way through town. I was shocked. I have played this game for literal years, and now I’m questioning my entire reality.
Am I the only one? Does this change as I do community upgrades? Did you just learn this too? I don’t think this is a spoiler?

I had no idea this was a thing…
It is a community upgrade, so it’s a fairly late game thing to open up. There is also beach access going south from the museum, and mountain lake access on either side of the river from north of Joja Mart/south of the quarry bridge
This is one of the community upgrades! Leah adds shortcuts (your pic here, also south of library, north of movie theater, & by the tunnel near your farm) & extra bridges (in the mountains)

But I’m certain there were some bushes in the way. Is it locked at the beginning of the game?
