Help needed; my game keeps going up to 10gb of ram usage, I have only 33 mods installed and it wasn’t doing this before or even months ago when I started my world, it just started doing this yesterday. Idk how to fix it and I have my minecraft set to only using 4gb as it doesn’t need that much.

You allocated 10gb to it. Minecraft reserves all available RAM so no other programs can overwrite or use it, even if it curently doesn’t need as much.
Idk if you are using a custom launcher or vanilla one. Either way there should be a launch flag for the JVM that tells it the maximum ammount of ram to use, for vanilla it should be
-Xmx<n>G
where <n> is the ammount of gigs of ram you wanna allocate
It will absorb as much ram as you give it. Give it less ram
