Yeah in my last playthrough I got my first prismatic shard from a random Omni geode in year 1. Sweeping the last of the mines with a galaxy sword was wonderful

My own reactions to finding the first prismatic shard in my saves:
Spring year 1 = Excitement 👀⭐!!
Summer year 1 = Yes! Just what I was hoping for!
Fall year 1 = Good! Where have you been hiding?
Winter year 1 = Finally! Your services have been requested.
After year 1 = You SOB.
Fishing them up does generate excitement tho, it’s not the most common occurrence for me personally.
(I have a few thousand hours into SDV across several saves on multiple platforms).
