Many believe that Herobrine originated from a single image in August of 2010. The true history, however, is much more complicated – there are many contributing ideas that have been forgotten.

Hey. Italian here, my people have had a LONG story with herobrine (to the point i consider him deserving of italian citizenship) starting from early 2015. This video is quite interesting… but i have to say this.

You never played Minecraft as a kid if you didn't troll your friends by shearing trees, building pyramids and the DanTDM "Herobrine spawners"
I rememver one video of a group of guy's building a tree house in a jungle when, basically described as herobrine, was spotted watching them from the top of a jungle tree, the tallest one even. It would just stand and watch. So all of them except for one guy go to climb the tree and see whats what, when they reach the top he despawned. As soon as they got back he was standing. there. Watching. It took a bit for anyone to go and do ANYTHING but they continued playing like normal. The sun started setting so everyone made their way back. When the sun had reached the top of the jungle trees, the thing or herobrine, started movinh its head, before diving off the top of the tree, explodinh causing a huge fire, burning almost every tree in the immediate area down. Ive been looking for that video since i was a kid, and to this day all i want to do is watch it, just watch it
Ngl, I think seeing a mysterious figure with luminous white eyes staring at you from the darkness would be pretty darn scary. Hell, I sometimes still jump scared by endermen from a distance

The only thing i cant believe is that nobody took those amazing tech demos of AI playing Minecraft (like NVIDIA's one) and plaster it under a Herobrine skin.
Would be amazing to see a non-horror/creepypasta Herobrine building alongside you in an world.
what annoys me is that. its not 2 pixels. its 4. the eyes are 2 pixels each. please help
my fanfic: disc 13 is a recording of some war think about it, explosions, water splash (bodies falling into wet trenchs), arrows. this and the muffles could be some kind of shell shock from the deafening explosions. this might be some kind of anti war thing translated into the minecraft universe
We have plenty of Herobrine mods, but why not make one about White Eyes? She sounds like a really cool enity!

My brother and me loved Minecraft so back in 2015-2016 he was playing in his world and strange stuff was happening. I was just watching YouTube when he called me over. There was herobrine just there. My brother was in creative with a high sky island made out of glow stone. Herobrine slept in daytime, and started placing shulkers around. My brother quit, deleted his world, and refused to play for at least 2 years after that.

God i love Herobrine and the history of it so much i remember playing on tablet and being anxious about it, I remember seeing fake name tags on the distance (prob a tecnical error of Minecraft PE), perfectly dug out crosses in the ground, wierd generation of terrain that looked man made and white pixels that looked static throught the snow.
Its just so nostalgic thinking about it now lol
