Flails are actually better for multi target so hes right
Ngl you could've skipped the dao and just got the far superior alternative, that being the drippler crippler.
Your options are running quite limited now
The only feasible choice is the flairon

You might not get it first try so pray for some fisbron wings as well (or dont If you're playing on expert or above)

Have you shimmered the life fruit and life crystals those boosts are well worth and fairly easy
After this try getting drippler crippler then kill duke for flailron, that can kill moonlord
Why mythril?
For my first playthrough of this game that's exactly what I did the next one if you haven't gotten it it's good for bosses like the Skeletron when you were fighting cuz issues projectiles it's called the Drippler crippler
you gonna repeat this challenge in expert or even master mode, or nah?
