awesome! hopefully this new end update also entails the end of you talking
hot take but i don't care about an end update. id much rather have an update that i'd be able to actually experience, since i barely ever even make it to the nether, and i have never gone to the end in survival. my optimal update would be a farming update as I love minecraft food/farming related things.
Mojang has also been planning on reworking combat for at least 3 years now, so maybe if they are working on an end update and a combat rework at the same time we might get the cobat update 2
The reason bundles took 4 years to release was because they couldnt decide whether or not they wanted them to be useful or not. Sometimes items with smaller stacks took more slots in it, sometimes they didnt. At one point I think they were only able to hold one type of item for a very short time which was obviously changed very quickly

1.22 should be solely an optimization update up until 1.22.6 I don't need new content
so let me get this straight, if mojang posts literally anything in relation to their own game, it confirms a huge major update for that area?
its because the end is meant to be empty as its ecologicly Dead with only the cokroachs such as the ender men and chrous plants lived

Its more likely for a legacy console update than an end update the next update will probably be anything but an end update
would LOVE an aether-like dimension… the end being expanded would be nice… but i genuinely want another dimension to explore… and i know it's possible because mods can literally do it.

I say it will be released for the time the movie comes out as they could be related thematically
if they ever DO make an end update, they should have an elytra upgrade, like the netherite upgrade. So that you can attach your elytra to your chest plate
I some speculation here. Since Mojang is brining attention to how boring the strong Hold is as a structure, what if that structure getting updated could match it's Dungeons counterpart in the End DLC of Minecraft. Because when it comes down to structures that need a whole lot of work, then the Stronghold is the highest candidate of an End Update first and for most.
