The Old One’s Army is a unique Dungeon Defenders 2 crossover event that can be triggered by placing an Eternia Crystal on the Eternia Crystal Stand. Waves of enemies begin spawning from portals on both sides of the crystal, seeking to destroy it. The objective is to protect it until all waves are cleared and if the crystal is destroyed, the event ends.
In this video I’ll go over almost everything about this event. This event contains a ton of good loots, many of which will help you in your game. However, this is all behind the challenges provided by this event, so for those of you who haven’t tried it, I heavily recommend to do it.

an exploit you can use are hoiks, they cannot walk through them though the flying ones aren't affected
Tips: Using any less aggro equipment like Putrid scent to make the Betsy and the army ignore you and go straight for The Ethernia Crystal, so you don't have to build mobility or defense and just focus on damage builds.
Note: Aggro reductions of −750 (or more) nearly guarantee the player will not be targeted. So don't get very close to them.
Note 2: Betsy deals very small damage to Ethernia Crystal so you don't have to worry about it.
Love the content mate! could you do a video going over the loot tables of surface, underground and cavern layer chest loot, your guides are always really well layed out and easy to look at quickly for a refresher and I think that'd make a great addition 👍🏻
the explosive trap is definitely the best sentry out of all. In any tier they can easily take down bulk of the enemies on their own to the point I don't even need to move until a boss arrives. Ground and flying enemies both get taken out easily.
