Okay but please consider doing a couple of easier playthrough first lol. Don’t want you burning yourself out. Maybe a playthrough where your aim isint to complete the game per se, but complete the beastiary?
It's a shame you never got your hands on the lantern pet the skeleton merchant sells. It's basically a spelunker potion with infinite use
The biome which used to be the crimson has mercury brick wall, which can possibly be shimmered down to luminite, potentially allowing solar armour to be crafted pre-moonlord if this is a valid shimmer transformation

Can I just say that your editing is amazing? Maybe its just that our tastes line up exactly, but it feels like you always include the exact right footage and commentary at the exact right time. For example, I love when you show a funny/interesting/important clip with little to no commentary and let the viewer figure out what happened.

Something I think would be neat is go back to previous challenges from before shimmer was added and retry them to see how different they are.(the block randomizers and the Majorca’s mask would probably be the most interesting)

i really liked that "kalle demos" music you used for the prime fight, i had never heard it before, is it one of the 3 songs to make their first appearence in this channel?
i did a run where i had random worldgen, drops, recipes and fishing. all at once. it was kinda unbearable, but really easy.
Maybe the real playthrough was the mining we did along the way

at 16:30, I think the rates may have been buffed due to the killing of enemies over shimmer, them dropping coins and the shimmer turning the coins into luck.
