If you play expert mode everyone gets boss drops! but it does make the game harder, just be warned

Ya know…. I could be wrong but I think you can set off pressure plates by throwing something on them. Like a Glowstick maybe? If nothing else it will make the pressure plates more obvious.
Edit: Sjin…. you and guys already discussed the fact that you can SEE the WIRING for Traps by holding a Trap. Good idea to carry 1 and just swap to it every so often to see if a trap is around.

the biome torches from the torch god are very useful when farming for mob drops, because when you place a biome torch in its specific biome it gives a luck boost to the area
I think you should change worlds to get rid of the traps. They've had their time, but will get annoying pretty quickly. That said, if you don't change worlds, i think you, Sjin, should have to spend an entire episode caving, just so we can see you having to actually deal with the world you made.
I think you should get rid of the traps especially if they’re making exploring the world harder. Terraria is hard enough as it is.

Windy days spawn ladybugs which being around increase your luck which is very valuable for farming
