we had depleted all of our resources and someone needed to leave the base to go collect wood mix buunk being the bravest he volunteered I have a cloud in a bottle and 17 recalls so we’ll be good I four of us left I going to say it got pretty quiet oh yeah so with only one day even survived already three people died and it was extremely clear that if we didn’t do something to change our situation that we were going to be next so what happens is David Cutlery consumer and I all go underground to mine while Prisma stays back and watches the base down here we’d get ores for armor find accessories get Life Crystals you’re welcome yeah oh D to better Aid Us in in surviving the upcoming threats that was for you dude now the thing about exploring underground is that everything is basically dangerous and we were barely scraping the surface of it dude careful someone hit me for 50 was that the freaking Block in master mode one to two hits of basically anything would kill us oh my goodness so we moved with extra caution they’re coming oh dude you’re going to be real careful with there’s the one shot you would just thought dude actually 100 something damage why is he legs oh don’t mess around with bombs guys David Cutlery careful there’s a bat down there but slowly as we got further we unknowingly split up a bit which caused a bit of chaos get on the Mine Cut the oh wait right no I see it I see it I see it What’s happen you guys okay and I end up getting a little bit too bold but I start getting pinched up by a worm oh and recall home just in case [ __ ] i’ find out that ghost cannot open doors which is a whole plot line we’ll get into later ghost can open doors why but for now I left consumer and David to it and I just collected some worms improve the house a little bit until I was ready to go back mining now this mining trip was a little different cuz not only were we going to go mining but we also wanted to retrieve our dead teammates grave from earlier we did have some disputes among each other of whether or not we should actually be taking the graves wait did you get rid of the tombstone in the house yeah I did a those our boys Legacy I didn’t think about it why don’t you just let people that are dead just rest instead of having to dig up their graves we need to keep their grave we eventually decided it would be better to actually take them and put them all together rather than having them scattered out throughout the world even if it means digging up our dead teammates corpses um oh well on on second thought yeah so we got his grave and then continued on trucking ahead Mr consumer got pretty deep in the marble biome trying to retrieve some loot well David col and I dropped down to fight a ghost yeah there’s two ghosts on there David John you guys good you guys good barely yeah we’re I don’t have any other bits of light I’m just going to oh wait is it I have light all right good we certainly weren’t safe that’s for sure there’s a skeleton coming from up top up top up top but our teamwork excellent oh my god dude you saved my life the thing about hardcore is absolutely everything counts who who’s dying recall Rico Rico sh consumer oh my god brother if I didn’t have that life P I would have been dead I guess these guys you’re lucky to have such a genius on their team huh anyways down here we had a goal and that goal was to gear up enough so we can actually start taking out some bosses I mean we weren’t just going to have to go sit around and watch us do nothing we we were going to beat the game by this point we all had Gladiator leggings gems ores but we still weren’t necessarily ready for the aulu fight so we went and mined some more and this is where we start making most of our progress the journey starts with Chef joining us and then eventually David Cutlery finding a mushroom biome guys mushroom biome down here that seems like a bad idea that’s huge where he would push ahead and explore safely collecting up that loot meanwhile us others focus on collecting silt for gems here you mine and I’ll place a torch under it but eventually the traveling Merchant moves in and David cery goes home to see what he has this dude is selling a magic hat finding this out I TP home and spent all our money on hats and pass them out oh my God what a waste of sake as well waste of money waste of money dude now these hats didn’t necessarily offer the most amount of Defense but they represented something much greater oh bad on us watch out watch watch oh watch I should have drank this sake they were a symbol of our teamwork in the first step to our comeback this cave is way too open nice okay it’s a dead Man Chest down there all right boom bucket of lava one two built like that D we actually got a piano i di oh my [Music] no what happened oh no while dropping down I placed ropes and Prisma stayed up top where he had eventually miss the rope and fall to his death coming wild his corpse is on me like I have to retrieve his grave grab his grav all right a perfectly timed fatal moment almost as if Terraria was reminding us that nothing is guaranteed in this challenge it says he tried to ice skate uphill dude viewers I added a few of them Mr consumer decides to gear him up but I wasn’t really in agreement with this matter of fact I wanted to kill him in what world was it fair that this random person could just join when all my friends had to die it wasn’t fair it wasn’t fair at all so dead ass at this moment I independently decided that I was going to execute him it’s the rler well just before I could kill him he actually joined the call so I wasn’t expecting this to work I thought they’d be a password we gear him up and let him join as another member of our crew with a hat and everything we don’t have enough gems for for a gem for the rizet dude uh I I have six emeralds oh D we have I have plent rler needs a gem it wasn’t until the rizzler fell in our pool that he died oh I’m going to drown I’m not see no don’t Dr Wait get out get him out get him out going to Dr this house is so bad build wait I have okay I’m good okay this is the worst base I have ever seen in my entire life okay so he didn’t die yet because the place we’re visiting next someone does whoa spoiler okay my bad my bad guys but basically we got pretty geared up we all have gem hooks like gems above our heads even and a little bit of armor meaning it’s finally time to take on our first boss only we don’t have a summon so what we end up doing is actually going back underground and looking for one you’re just dude what the heck dude these chests are empty someone went and L they deserve to die yeah they went to the left of the start I think I swear to God if this was weird dude look he went exploring don’t even open these don’t do it don’t even open let me just break it just destroy just destroy it enemy spotted no one died down here right is there no traps oh wait we got mushroom biome down here think oh are they trying to signal to us that it’s there or hide it which one are they trying to do find what do you gain from that so other than this ghost who is clearly trying to murder us who I’m pretty sure that’s yis other than him the ghosts were very useful because these guys could just go ahead of us they could basically Scout any area and just take us to a Life Crystals chest I’m good good basically like fairies fairies now you can make an emerald you can make an emerald one we could hook everyone up with and anytime we find a new area they would just Scout for us if there’s anything dangerous just just start shaking your head all right the coast is clear so as long as we trusted them they were an incredibly useful asset but in this mushroom biome we end up finding something that changes the course of the Run oh I have something for us take this dude there’s another hot Crystal right here oh I got something better better than Crystal dude better two random teleportation potions and by drinking these we will let the game decide Our Fate all right I have one too we both drink at the same time oh all right yeah this might actually kill us so fire three yeah dude hey dude this could this could be it this could be the moment three two one go oh chest I am in a spider biome oh no I am in a spider biome dude hey dude this could this could be it this could be the moment no well it’s been fun guys catch you later bye no the cat later rler yeah it was actually the rizzler that died he had traveled deep into the marble biome and unlike us he never got the warning that these guys basically one- shot you so he went a little too far down and he got sniped honestly at this moment I was sure that David just died I mean you can see I even hover over his name I was D I was so confused the timing was crazy I he was a good friend while he lasted but the reason actually changed the course of the challenge wasn’t because the rler died and it was actually because the chest I got teleported to had the summon we were looking for middle of it I culu sumon you cthulu summon Y and you know what that means progress now it was actually daytime so we couldn’t spawn the boss right away but this daytime was uh pretty eventful itself the day consisted of the ghost being the ghosts immediately into the [ __ ] who has Mana I hate them so much all so annoying each and every one of them and the second thing the day consisted of was crafting but not anything useful I have three which I still don’t regret all worth it some chandeliers there we go and the third thing we did is we went to retrieve the rizer’s grave a very important thing we couldn’t miss you got you guys grave you yeah I got it all right so throughout the last hour five of the eight original players have suffered cruel grueling deaths at the hands of enemies and themselves this is the worst base it killed yardis and since then us remaining players have banded together to try to avoid anyone else dying but now we go into our hardest challenge yet the eye of [Music] cthulu I’m coming yep that’s the bounce ooh there’s the he there’s the he now we just we keep it at a steady Pace steady Pace steady Pace oh turn around wait [ __ ] consumer here good potions I already have one I already have good potions oh oh thanks thanks now there’s something extremely important to understand about hardcore multiplayer and that is that the boss Health doesn’t ignore the players that are dead instead the boss Health scales to the total amount of players in the lobby the boss Health goes from a normal 4,000 in master mode all the way up to 24,000 on just the eye of cthulu and keep in mind just three hits and we die once he turns I think we’re all dead yeah he should be lower he should be lower yeah I think he we still got a bit time tell you before we get to the end oh guys oh this is scary this is scary don’t wor don’t wor we we got plenty of Link all right right actually no wait speed up speed up he’s going to bounce here yes nice but he has as much health as like the moon Lord so uhoh and just to show you guys how much health this dude really has during the fight a star hit him which in a typical game mode this would take about 1/3 of the boss’s Health off but as you can see it doesn’t even put a dent in him and the IU is now starting to speed up quick oh no oh he took a bite out of me any CH PA good Pace the ghosts almost can’t keep up dude this is getting quick am I even hitting him he did get hit by damage wait he did get hit by it it’s turning around we got to bounce here bounce here bounce here lucky good yeah yeah good the angles different angles different angles him having this much health makes it so much more intense it’s a real boss fight bro if we didn’t have the Mine Card trap we’d be done it’d be over 6K HP now okay dude the ghosts they got keep up dude we left them behind let’s just get right here we have to protect each other okay dashes streng numbers strengthen numbers let’s see who’s going to die first I don’t have enough speed John speed up John oh my God there’s so many goie goie go there’s so many ghosts oh let’s go we did it let’s go we did it oh I’m still alive I’m still alive so now that we just beat our first major goal the I of cthulu it was time to celebrate there some gold in there is just a couple little bits if we’ve learned anything in this challenge it’s that people do not last long and living is valuable oh no dude you I was being careless moment’s like that make you appreciate life absolutely so we kind of spent this time de-escalating and uh kind of just enjoying ourselves brother dude don’t you worry baby hell yeah bro you just left him here you didn’t kill him it’s a good idea it’s a good idea hold down and see if whoa wait dude I just had the best idea ever but it’s going to cost a lot of stone all wait they’re saying e e d wait wait they’re saying F I have the Slime Crown voice e okay feed they need they’re hungry so our big goal is to beat the Brandon cthulu but before that we thought we might as well kill King Slime quickly but the fight ended up being anything but quick he’s got 18,000 Health wait get the boulders release the boulders oh my gosh oh no watch out harder than the eye of cthulu the boulder keep moving keep moving moving keep moving running Don’t Go Near me Don’t Go Near me oh you guys just kill me oh you guys just kill me fortunately for me at this moment I was able to recall away and then I had a ghost clutch up and drop some knowledge in the chat which saved my life oh the nurse healed me I’m fine I’m fine and I was good to go to get back in the fight but dude the ghost they’re clutch man now this fight ends up taking like an entire night cycle and I mean the sun was coming up at this point which to be fair is exactly what we thought would happen this is going to take until the daytime yeah probably do but it only matter of time is the fight continued on and we beat him I think this is it boys get him yeah anybody want a full set of ninja armor yeah might be thrwing class I think I’m losing defense by doing this stop with the door wait c o c okay I don’t know what they’re spelling I don’t know what they’re trying to say all right now this is where stuff gets real because the next boss we’re going to fight is the brain of cthulu seeing how Mr jelly almost killed me in two hits and consumer one why does he do so much damage to me I have full platinum armor the odds of this fight weren’t looking good um and this is also one of the bosses that is not chees there’s no mine cart for this fight just our raw skill and abilities and not only that but we added a Special Rule to this fight that I’ll I’ll mention in a minute but right now it was time to build an arena oh man does anybody have wood never mind Oh I thought I had I thought I had a double jump save me got R coming down R coming down hold on hold on keep keep setting it the blocks BL it off wait you blocked it off no oh wait quick hang on I got to do something important okay there you guys go you got there you go what what’ you do stop placing I’m breaking these no don’t do that this fight and that is that there’s no recalling home for two main reasons the first one all of our teammates have died nobly and running away would just be honestly dishonorable to those who sacrificed their lives bravely and right now we we hold their legacy but also we really don’t have any other options I mean like what are we going to go mining for another hour it’s just not happening so it was like David Cy said it was now or never and just to be honest guys this fight goes way worse than we could have ever imagined the fight starts with the brain spawning in with 36,000 HP followed up by me popping a gravity potion and then falling through the platforms to take five hearts of damage oh I took a lot of fall damage oh this is bad this is bad guys don’t use the gravity potion it won’t you won’t stop it’s too late despite our efforts and everything we’ve done to come this far it was ending in an instant started with [ __ ] consumer no no no the gravitation potion is no wait no no no not me don’t mess around with bombs in hardcore dude what you mean like this playing with fire hurry up hold on I’m looting this chest dude the ghost l a Spiderman oh no dude followed
