[Music] folks it is day 15 of playing Minecraft every day of July and today when I woke up I saw that we had unlocked the 75,000 subscriber unlock which is just insane and with that we don’t have a challenge we have a friend Bry gets to join us today hey look there he see you later oh I tried bomb in over here you walked over oh sorry I was I wasn’t trying you wanted me to uh br’s going to be joining this episode just uh right to the right to the right to the right yeah there he is look at that yeah oh you speaking of speaking of Enderman FS I brought Bry last uh I built an Enderman farm that I was just showing you before the recording it’s a super simple design by Dash bom it rocks uh so now I actually have some levels because I need to enchant the channeling Trident we finally have a channeling Trident thank goodness and I also got a bunch of like kit and stuff for you because today Bry we’re going to an ancient city that is our specialty my friend all right you want to lead the way you want to find the ancient city you were the one telling me that’s so easy to find okay cool all right uh we go this way I guess we could tell noname stories on this oh the old noname stories we play the most noname of anyone we did we did have have did have yeah I don’t know okay well I guess that’s the first one right is no name still going on I’ve gotten that question at VidCon uh yes at least in the sense of like I want to still do videos to finish it off like I I designed a house that I want to build um I want to finish up like The Oasis I don’t think it looks great right now um there’s stuff that I want to do mhm uh I mean no name was just such a fun thing to do cuz like that was my first time just being like what if I just got to play with my friends and just like get to show how much fun it is that we have together to other people and like the fact that it like that that worked was like a lot of fun um this is kind of that same thing of like I would love to just be playing a survival world of Minecraft regardless so like getting to do it now is like super cool it is it is really cool it’s probably helped me stick with it I probably would have been like I don’t know I’m bored yeah yeah so the that whole like stop deleting your Minecraft worlds thing just put it in front of a public audience where there would be a lot of people who would be very mad if you deleted the world for real though you should have seen the public backlash I got when I deleted Bry craft you deleted it it’s gone it’s gone forever that’s just like I don’t know I I’m I’m just so scared about deleting anything like we do Dropbox for our storage because like I just mortified of losing anything like I have the videos that I like first ever edited on there really yeah man like I’d rather just like I I’ll find out a way to pay for storage more than I’ll find out a way to like recover files dang that is that is a different kind of person I’m a digital hoarder I guess I get it though cuz like there are times I look back and I’m like oh it would have been really cool you know to go back to Bry craft and see what that world was like and The Nostalgia of it but I I needed a gigabyte of of storage you know had to go had to go didn’t make the cut sorry hey I’ll tell you what we found a jungle temple let’s go I need the uh smithing template from this oh do you yeah so do I that’s so so crazy how we both need that no only one of us needs this in perpetuity bamboo really that’s all that has here nothing nothing nothing nothing nothing at all nothing no that sounds like you stole it Bry I didn’t steal anything I wouldn’t do that to you you just borrowed it I would if I could but I I actually there wasn’t genuinely anything there okay I appreciate that honesty I guess I was getting told before this I was like oh ancient cities are super easy to find who told you that I don’t know some some confident folks yeah informed people if you ask me yeah how are you doing on awesome how you choose to spend it is your own thing I don’t ask how the funds get placed after could you imagine like gifting someone money for like their birthday and then you’re like hey uh what you what you spend it on they’re like ah you know just I I just pocketed it and you’re like not good enough that’s not how I would have spent it if I was buying your gift of course I didn’t hence the fact that I’m giving you money in the first place I’m not a big gift guy if I don’t know if I don’t know if you catch on to that one uh yeah no I’m not either not a gift guy don’t like gifts I I almost sent my my gold plaque back to YouTube like get away from me with this just like this is getting a little serious I don’t know YouTube it’s a bit much all right it’s a bit much oh I found a cherry biome this is a good Cherry biomes are almost they’re second second to finding Peaks come to me skip are you genuinely serious or are you just yep okay what’s your want me just to dig down and excited for me but it turns out that you’re one of the other friends that’s true well at least I’m still a friend that’s nice that’s true that’s fair that’s fair okay there’s no I feel like I would have seen deep dark by now now I would have found a cave by now I forgot I didn’t have hostile sounds on this whole time cuz I turned them off for the Enderman Farm I actually would have been like you inside of the ancient city on no name true that is a that is a dark time in my mind hostile creature sounds were muted you know what I have a bone to pick with you actually oh okay pick the bone in in one of your latest episodes that I watched today okay said uh that you looked like clown Pierce in that one Bry thumbnail and I was like oh this is a great time for skip to to you know to take his credit for for coming up with that concept for that thumbnail in the first place but instead you took the advantage to just mock me instead and I was and I I said to myself this is bull crap I didn’t say the other what I know you were like th this sucks this is an outrage and this is this is the deadliest way of playing it back stand for this yeah no I I mean you it was you and reu did the thumbnail I just I was like oh I guess we could tell that story that’s kind of how we met we could tell that story um oh yeah how we met oh so I was going through a big life steal kick uh and I was like this stuff is great big fan of watching it and I found Bry stuff and I liked it because like it wasn’t in the spirit of the same thing um the video I saw was the one where you were like you trapped yourself to get wreck to uh prove his like fty to you oh yeah I forgot about yeah yeah yeah worked it did so I was like oh okay this you know this is a very Charming YouTuber I think at that time we had like 80,000 subscribers and I was like man this guy’s stuff is so good and I I it’s clearly watchable I was like his retention must be great um retention being like how long someone watches the the video for on YouTube and just like I was like man the only thing is just your thumbnails so I reached out I was like hey it’s like great to Great to get to talk with you um there was some situation where like I had talked to wreck not that long prior and then it just sort of like stemmed into me uh us all three of us on a call and um we were talking about thumbnails and uh I don’t know it was it was very cool it’s I from my memory it was me and wreck gotten a call and you started messaging me on Twitter and reck was like oh yeah that’s skip I talked to him at that convention and I was like oh cool is he cool cool and he’s like yeah he’s cool we he said that we were going to get in a call but we just haven’t done it yet and I was like oh he wants to get in a call at some point and he’s like should we just get in a call with him now and I was like oh my God that’s so forward of you to just do what you say you’re going to do as soon as you say you’re going to do it yeah right and typical Rec crap stuff and then boom jumped in a call and my meol lection was that I said hi Skip and you said hi Bry nice to meet you and I said nice to meet you too and then you said your videos are great but your thumbnails suck I mean that seems a little that seems a little blunt but I uh if you if you perceived it that way it’s pretty verbatim I I’d say but you were correct they were they were not great I wasn’t great at thumbnails still am not but uh I think that in that call you gave us an idea for my thumbnail because initially I had a whole different concept and uh I showed it to you and immediately I felt uncomfortable showing it to you that’s how bad it was a good sign I was like oh no and then you were like you should do something like Minecraft’s deadliest assassin and then use a a remnant of Like a Star Wars Darth Vader in a dark hallway kind of a shot yeah it was like the the Rogue one Darth Vader scene yeah yeah and then wreck was like oh my God that’s such a good idea I know exactly what we can do and then wreck and I hopped in a world and he pretty much just took a picture and then edited it right in front of me and he’s like you should do something like this and I was like I think I should just do this can I just use this picture he’s like yeah do it and that’s there you go and you also gave wreck a thumbnail I believe at the same time and that video did insanely well so oh the what was it the the streamer thought he could trap me yeah yeah little known fact that’s actually that’s actually me in the thumbnail I don’t oh really yeah I’m I’m wearing I think vitalacy skin or something but yeah yeah it is vitalacy yeah interesting we like it was like the same day we made or maybe like the next day or something but we made both those thumbnails and then they both took off and when me and Rex got to call him we were like you know what we should probably keep this skip guy around yep for a little while just earning see else can do save the day so you’re right on time okay right now the day is that we haven’t even found it so yeah so maybe if you find it then well I mean you know Skip and I have a great history of looking for very true Philadelphia is the most ancient of all cities literally the First Street in the United States is in Philadelphia so that’s pretty cool yeah it’s pretty neat name tag um I think I it if it’s not accessible to us we just dig down more we have to we have to find a different place to dig I guess to like find a different cave get away from the warden preferably yeah just go any way
