[Music] hello and welcome to the brave return of druidaria this is druidaria 2 and I am joined by two amazing Terraria players we’ve got fesus hello hello and we’ve got RADS hello now and hello to robot and oh and there’s a robot here as well his name a Rob that CLD Cloud I thought he was going to murder me but apparently not yet not yet he looks like the murdering type and I know what the murdering type looks like so I’m got my eyes on you robot so yeah oh man Terraria I haven’t played this game for so long so excited but there’s something important we need to decide before we get going oh you’re waiting for me to tell you right um yes I’m usually waiting for that oh what’s that it’s like no no doing saying things we’re waiting for it what’s that Shin what are we waiting for what are we waiting for so my dudes we are we we have to decide what classes we’re going to play this is a very exciting and important moment it’s like any RPG G picking your class is going to decide your life wow okay no no enthusi okay yeah I’m trying to get you work up but it’s not stuck I’m stuck tough Crow tough crowd but yeah so basically um yeah you got four to pick from in vanilla Terraria obviously mods add more but we’re doing mostly vanilla and the options are melee ranged Summoner and wizard wizard now based on your I’ll be I’m think I’m Hing over Uncle means you’re going to be the uncle class which is I am Fus the wizard Uncle okay so fesus is clearly going to be a wizard RS what are you think oh God ah contct yeah uh I am going to play melee melee oh man yes in my first play through I went melee and it was tough but a lot of fun I reckon I fancy being a Summoner if that makes sense oo fancy fancy yeah that’s very fancy he can summon so you cowards are going to be sitting back in the fight while I’m pretty much all right I’m us doing all the work for me so yeah you take the damage we run away I’m used to people doing all the work for me anyway so there you go I take the damage I die and then you guys are nowhere to be seen and the boss despawns exactly but we survive so it’s okay and we keep our money so that’s the most important thing right that’s the most important oh my God flashbacks so when you die you drop your cash and the arguments we used to have about people stealing other people’s money well I’m never going I’m Mone oh I picked up your gold no I have more than that give me the rest I more than that no you 60 Gold I picked up like two copper so the most important thing is just like in Minecraft building a house for our first night right yeah yes and allowing villagers to spawn so that we can take advantage of them I mean yeah you probably make like a giant apartment block that’s what I always do so which of you guys has the most um hours in terrar you reckon uh I have let me quickly check wed going have to tap out for that I have 150 wow it’s not a lot only 150 yeah only 150 yeah I have uh 250 and I have cut forwards to me showing my hours cuz I’m not going to go and look but you guys can see whoa that’s a crazy amount wa he’s got so many W so many hours plot it’s like three as the uh the certified you know expert in Terraria you guys will have to be following exactly what it is so Shen I recommend you go into this cave right here actually I think that’s it’s definitely not trapped or anything so you should you should go into this cave no don’t worry those traps are duds because basically I looked through the options for World seats there’s a whole bunch of different things you can type in to um to make the world more exciting and one of those things was no traps so I put no traps into the SE oh really let’s go and that means no traps okay well that just make the game incredibly more easy no I thought it me no traps what it actually means is uh there are crazy amounts of traps it spawns a ridiculous amount of traps apparently so watch yourself because not only are there more traps there are new and exciting ways to die as well like you know the boulder traps I do very much know the boulder made them more difficult to deal with they now come in bouncing Boulder variety so that’s why have you done that what you hold on what have you done wait there traps everywhere you’re not lying hold on a sec hold on a sec firstly the height is just right that is perfect it is yeah well the first one there we go everyone the M the terrar up the Minecraft pro the Tri Pro has first why are there so many tracks well I mean there’s like a there’s a there’s a reasonable amount honestly when I tested the world there weren’t that many did I put no traps on the test also why are you wearing what am I what I’m wearing clothes what do you mean what am I wearing you always look like an idiot that’s debatable take this wood make a house and do better all right also rant is rocking one of the new hairstyles Last time I played they didn’t have as many customization options but it looks like you’ve got like um what is that my hair actually moves wavy hair I do why does he look like an Undertaker you better watch out he does look like an Undertaker a sassy redhead Undertaker it’s weird though you never there’s never attractive looking uh undertakers in um television or movies it’s always somebody ugly or old I don’t really think there’s many like like I don’t know like models being Undertakers now well I don’t know I I I would like to see like a TV show or a movie where they they challenge that and oh what is what have you done just be careful RADS honestly oh my God I thought you were good at the game that really it really looks like a skill issue or a you problem this is unreal he else go a cave right going to just take care of our first nigh house I’m going to babysit RADS make sure he doesn’t get exploded I’ll try to make this look a bit all right come on R now watch out basically there’s these sticks of of nitro is it nitroglycerin dynamite oh nitroglycerin Dynamite what yeah Nitro Dynamite is nitroglycerin isn’t it it is no is poop it sweats nitroglycerin that’s right yeah so poop so watch out yeah they make they make diamond out of poop don’t they manure you mean fertilizer not not literal sure whatever yeah just watch out oh my God so you mean to say I should watch out in my toilet Watch How I flush well I don’t know what your toilet looks like got those well it looks like it looks like dynamite exped in that to be honest so that’s that might smell like we I don’t know this this the amount of traps is actually unreal I’m not going to lie why would you even put that on and what is that a fun experience I didn’t I didn’t think it’ be fun be you know traps Everyone likes traps what do you guys at home think so put in the comment section whether you think we should remove all the traps which at this point would mean changing the world completely and oh flip no I’m good I think it’s just an extra you just got to be more careful rans is used to rant is like a speedrunner he’s used to hey everyone in the comments put put your bets now who’s going to lose their towards dying of traps first is it going to be Shin Shin or Shin no I I I like traps I’m all about the traps okay so I I’m a careful Terraria player as I promise you as soon as someone else goes into a cave you will understand how just absolutely terrible it is with I also like that you’ve put the one thing that I disgustingly hate in this game on massively um I really hate traps in Terraria because there always some kind of stupid thing that gets you killed well it’s okay it’s okay cuz I mean yeah they just it’s a challenge right it’s a challenge cuz we’re all seasoned Terraria Pros we need a challenge so welcome welcome welcome to pain famous I promise you my footage will be so boring to cut to because I am walking very slowly through caves I am literally hitting a dirt wall with a wooden Hammer use a torch there can’t be that many traps I just followed you into a cave and I didn’t see a single trap not a single TR me trust me you go ahead of me well I tell you what I might start building the elevator the Terraria the Terraria classic you know you got to have an elevator to hell maybe that was one M that I would have preferred if you put in the insta elevator well that seems a bit cheat that that that seems very cheating you know what Shin you can dig it that’s what I’m doing one thing I really hate in this game it’s always digging a elevator because it’s so clunky and wonky how why do we want the elevator do we you want like a deluxe elevator wide wide okay yes no that no we can’t do that bombs we can bombs it needs a one block middle otherwise the ROP is going to be off center that will rle my jimy five five blocks okay also I’m getting some Stone so we can make some stone walls and the like wooden walls weird yeah they do how good are you a building in this like I mean I possible it’s it’s it’s all about attention to detail really I’ve got some tips that I can give you for building Cool Stuff number one big don’t use word like but if you must use don’t do exactly what you’ve been doing don’t do what you’re done okay as a Ru so you see a house that you just built yeah don’t do that and you’ll do far don’t don’t do this don’t do this um but one one really great tip and this is great for the guys at home as well hello welcome to the series um you can make your walls two or three blocks thick and instantly everything will look better everything will look you know yeah Fuller richer better so yeah that’s an easy tip bigger means better yes yes it does children bigger Bigg thicker more girth that’s what she said anyway uh wider wide boy wide load coming through that’s all you want from your house a wi like big big Chun as but in house form do you mind if I put a wall down here yes I really do you do mind no no I don’t I’ve just I’ve just gone and got some Stone so I’m making I’m putting in a stone wall now ah perfect okay yeah yeah it’s really maybe make some torches I can’t see anything yeah what do you mean yeah okay okay how do we make torches gel yeah yeah gel gel and wood I really thought you were joking when you said you put on bouncing bouncing Boulders have you found a bouncing Boulder trap this guy thought I was joking I don’t joke when it comes to trolling RS you know that no unfortunately not no hey this is this is for the guys at home I’m looking out for them they are going to have great fun watching your pain and misery so pure C we discussed a lot about this Terraria playthrough before we started this was not one of them well no I I wanted it to be a surprise Sur it looks like it is a surprise to sure but not a welcome one oh is that an owl can I kill an owl no don’t kill the the local might have loots don’t kill the local populace wreck they killed the local populace wrecked them I’m wearing wooden armor I’m very protected now oh yeah I haven’t got a single piece of gear yet yeah I’m making a wooden sword because the short swords are very bad so I figure that doing the elevator is going to lead me to a bunch of caves and things oh look at oh my God you do look oh are those are those fences those are fences yeah they add a little bit oh impressed I didn’t even know you could do that you even added a little ball on top there that’s that is amazing holy crap you’re good at building kind of if the walls were a bit thicker this would be amazing but you don’t have the materials basically your problem is you’ve only got wood and I’m going to get you the stone you need so relax also so this or excavator which works a lot like ultim mine if you’re a Minecrafter you have to assign it to oh is he going to fall down my hole oh he fell in my hole yep that’s oh you’ll be fine that platform is not protective i f what is happening over here no I’m all right man I’ve managed it no it’s chaos well I’m making great progress on the elevator I’m basically almost there I’m so proud of you I have been making the slowest progress of existence what did you find on your travels how much or did you bring back did you bring back loads of right I think you found traps I’m not sure found traps cool nice well that’s okay because you’re a you’re a good terrarian who’s um careful and cautious and doesn’t get suckered by traps well at least all the traps will be gone by the point that I get into the mine so thank you Reds what do you think being the front line me so welcome yeah exactly I assume the front line meant tanking bosses not tanking yeah all right that wasn’t a trap it was a zombie I haven’t died yet see I’m the pro if anything here honestly yeah and oh see instantly now this looks a little a little a tiny um faction a little bit I got more there’s more coming there’s more coming but um yeah oh was that a bat what is that floting Firefly H who is this Harley can you go away so Reds has gone quiet that means he is seething with range he is I’m so angry flipping very very I actually forgot how to make a chest and I was looking up how to make a chest I can’t actually climb okay the roof is too high now I can’t climb it that’s one thing I love Terraria but crafting in it unless you really are like super comfortable with it can be a bit of a trick you know it’s a bit it’s a bit of a pain sometimes not going to lie you’re a bit of a pain you can’t excavate Stone wow wow can say okay yeah why don’t you go and sit in a bouncing ball trap I’m Choice it’s a ghost watching GH we’ll do a we’ll do a trap with all of your trap deaths I’ve only died traps twice I you know what I’m not going to give you enough footage to make a trap Montage what do you mean you can’t you can’t you going to edit the footage before you give it to me you can’t do you do no no no I’m not going to die what I’m saying is I’m not going to die to any more trap so you can’t make a trap Montage good yes that’s that’s what I want that’s I want you to well that’s what you’re going to geted excellent excellent great but he he won’t he he he’ll get comfortable and then bam trap he won’t be suspecting it he’ll be running away from something in panic and he’ll walk into her mine and it’ll be hilarious yeah to be fair I will definitely just forget that that’s what you’ve done at some point I’ll be like oh just play a normal game game of Terraria nope traps are flip oh Boulder uh the the the the the vein mine thing um doesn’t work on Stone or dirt but it does work on ORS cuz otherwise it’ be way cheaty being able to mine a whole section of stone also if you weren’t careful you could erase half of the map yeah that’s true I I set Fester festers um recently much it I compared him to a waffle yeah so to give some context on this it was my birthday it was my birthday in December and shin decided and shin was so nice to sent me a birthday cart yeah and he said in the uh what did you say again you’re the best thing the second best thing to come out of Belgium since the wful exact and I had to read that a couple of times because I wasn’t sure if it was insulting me or wishing me Happ no it’s a pretty it’s a Prett that’s a that’s a good Accolade I’m saying you’re the best thing in Belgium everything in Belgium except waffles and then there’s you so I’m not so I’m not the best thing in to be fair if he had said you were better than waffles you could tell that that was a lie and then it would make it less meaningful right that’s honestly it it sounds really glass half full what you’re saying yeah but um no I yeah waffles are great though sorry come on come on man you’re great Fest but not as great as a waffle come on not as great as a waffle not as great as a waffle a waffle but then again like if I had to eliminate one thing from the world a waffle or you it’ be a WAFF eliminate you and a anyway are really good sh I hate to break it to you by the way but you’re digging the hell of it the wrong way oh yeah I got I got you know you know how it is you get you get excited digging and you don’t stop digging and then before you know it you’re in China that’s that’s cool I’d like it to mod that instead of getting to hell he get to China China or Australia which whatever is opposite on the on the globe oh my dudes I found some copper so I can try out the or excavator see it in all it Glory I found copper oh no well no it’s good it’s good when I find Copper because I need to resort to explosives okay guys are you ready I’m going to test out the copper or excavator I’m going to watch this in action oh it’s quick it’s good oh it’s efficient I like it me and Festus look like fantasy characters and you look like you just walked in off the street is this a Starbucks hello you know what yeah have that you just oh my God he just used a heart I did whoever got that you can use cuz I I’m pro at this game what you right I’ve built the house now so I’m going to go explore so see you well me and rad are doing dangerous stuff so we need the hearts you’re building which is I guess dangerous sometimes cuz you can fall off the roof but yeah that’s all I’m building there you go you can do the rest oh no well honestly I’m I’m impressed I can’t get to the roof the roof is a little bit too high well why you need to be on the roof you some kind of well it’s a room and you can’t get to it oh yeah you can in theid jump in the middle building a house with a room that has no doors it’s like exactly interesting architectural Choice it’s really stylish these days I like it though I mean yeah it’s basic but it’ll do they’ll do pig they’ll do I think what we need is we need is more Stone right and we got big Stacks an apartment like like NPC Tower what do we call the tower in my in my jaria series the Tower of Power no that was like that was like Minecraft I think it had a name like something Tower ah well whatever oh look so I see Rad’s head when he’s like far away and his hair still moves oh does it that’s pretty as you’re moving yeah okay that is really weird it’s disembodied really like ghost I’m going I’m getting some Cactus because that’s somewhat a white weapons early on Andor oh I found the corruption yeah that one it is quite close on our left hand side that that’s good that’s ideal is it well no because between between us and that is going to be the elevator so we won’t get corrupted right uh that’s not how it works Shin corrupt cor option can spread through walls like the back back if the elevator goes all the way down to that’s going to take very long for you to do oh the background no it can’t can it I thought it can I don’t believe so it’s just solid blocks guess it can’t just found a an underground pyramid or something the Sandstone brick here usually that means there’s something on the ground I think Sandstone brick how many dies have you die how many times have you died so far well if someone didn’t set the world to be trapped forever Maybe dying L you were just eaten by the an Eater of souls so don’t try and blame traps okay or were you trying to dodge a trap and you landed on a monster or something yeah yeah yeah that one that one I definitely just didn’t just die cuz I’m bad at the video game there I think rans is probably arguably the best at Terraria better than me and fester because you recently completed um Calamity right I did I did complete Calamity very fun what was the hardest boss you had friends though so you’re probably carried but a friend a friend thanks thanks yeah I was completely car hardest boss um oh I actually don’t know I think I just found a treasure Trove is that good seven gold 11 I just picked up like 20 gold wow okay fair play we don’t have much Direction at the moment right so you guys are just oh watch out traps ah not so easy is it there was a golden chest that was like oh lud and yeah did it Blow was it a traed chest yes it’s Wasing I didn’t know that could happen uh you guys are you know doing the hard work of Discovery so I can yeah take care was like oh my God there’s loot proceeds to blow up just how it goes sometimes you know just like in Minecraft just like in Minecraft so Shin won’t be trolling any further in the series because he was already trolling by just enabling that for the entire play through so there my you used all your trolling for the entire series all all my troll tokens taken up but that troll is going to reap rewards throughout the entire series God sake I’m happy with that that’ll be that’ll be good oh oh D there we go again lip’s sake popped off it’ll be okay honestly just be careful or just like um throw Dynam I didn’t know it was going to be this bad admittedly but also I don’t think it’s that bad I think you’re just being bad bad you know I think you haven’t gone into a cave yet well I’m digging a cave I’m digging the elevator so I’m almost there as well there are traps in the cave oh God it goes all the way down what do you mean I’m going to need a better pickaxe I’m going to need a much better pickaxe sake so yeah okay I found some very weird stuff I found a Pharaoh’s mask and a Pharaoh’s robe that now look like a pharaoh I want to see that oh I can see on the map wow that that you look Majestic yeah that look really weird so yeah things things are going pretty well so what kind of NPCs do we want to get at the start do we want just like um like a like a thing oh yeah that thing yeah yeah yeah like like a tower a tower cuz I like the idea of like theming up the NPC’s rooms but I guess initially we just want to get some cheap easy housing right and then we can worry about rehousing them later on right yeah I think just building a whole bunch of houses and such would be the best way to do it I’ll get right on it Chief I’m going to build a cool a cool couple of houses I reckon like each house can hold like four NPCs and we’ll do like a few houses like that sound good um what so the traps right they require a lot of wiring and so there’s a lot of wiring that’s going around the caves that you can’t see but you can see it when you hold a trap now the thing about uh wiring is they can also be used to activate statues and when you activate a statue um something cool happens something spawns monsters so there’s a lot of monsters spawning here and they’re all dying to traps and drowning in front of me oh that’s perfect so honestly we can we can re these are these are valuable resources as these traps we can build mob Farms right that’s a thing yeah with water candles yeah doable do they’re all medusas and granite Golems oh oh the granite Golems are very useful that’s for an armor set that I need actually well I don’t know if they drop anything because I’m not the one killing them oh oh is it going to be oh wa is that a change cuz you used to be able to build like a lava trench the mon anymore oh you’re joking that was the best way to get gold oh man that sucks I was I was planning on building one of those well not today that’s like the oh how do you get gold then by by killing stuff oh my God that sounds so painful yeah you know mean kind of a big thing in this game killing people killing stuff killing stuff yeah man appreciation to the to the Terraria music it’s iconic it’s so good appr appreciation in general tar is a very good game it never really gets boring either the music’s always like oh yeah I it’s like I’m hearing it for the first time every time some first time every time yeah that’s scar it’s a good Jam what’s this o no hobo no hobo what do what does that mean Noob build a house enough y the guide moves in the First NBC is the guide he lives there cool thanks guide thanks guide the guy is us he is yeah he’s a cool yeah and then we kill him no he’s not no it is pretty useful so I’m going to commere some of our first ore for a pickaxe we can do that well no because I’m digging the elevator so I’m doing the most digging yeah so so what are the things that you guys are looking for you’re you’re a melee rans I’m a salono and you are a wizard so what is what is the first weapon you want to get before like the first boss ideally I want to be trying to get uh either a star Fury from the uh floating islands or an enchanted sword which come in shrines under the ground I’m not making any progress to any of them but those are what I’m looking for it’d be good if if you can find some gems for me so I can make a ruby St or a diamond I actually have eight emeralds if you you staff yeah go on then oh eventually even though I don’t have any Mana yet because have not seen any stars falling yet so I’m going to make a Tungsten pickaxe that okay by everybody cool yeah very important so I’m looking for any kind of like summoning stuff cuz they’re pretty rare or one thing you can do is if you look around the ground next to you like near home there might be a little red orange flower that you can pick up called Abigail’s flower yeah and it’s like the most base level Su weon oh right Abigail is that like a flower on the on the ground so basically Terraria had a collaboration with Don’t Starve at one point there’s a lot of don’t there’s a few don’t star bosses in this and a few um also I just found a zombie arm I can give that to rats thank you like don’t star Dungeon Defenders one there’s also a reference from that in there because Terraria you might not notice is old as hell I think this game got out in 2010 and they keep updating it as well like no they’re done though they’re done though a well they kept updating it as well which is good uh I’ve actually not F what does that look like again let me where’s the recipy browser what was that what button was that one I B bound the key so how how much how much you need it for a pickaxe like a Tungsten pickaxe there a red CL on the ground that you have to look for yeah it just spawns in the ground I I I don’t know how rare it is yeah I didn’t have wood that was what I was missing silly me I’m getting attacked by multiple demonized help but it it on the surface so Abigail’s flower is a basic summon there’s also if you can keep an eye out for a like a snowy underground biome RADS that has like those kind of weird snarfy looking things like bigy looking they look like schnarf from He-Man fles I need to look up what where my first whip comes from as well cuz basically as a Summoner I’m supposed to have summons which fly around cool yeah yeah yeah then I have a whip and the whip is used to show the summon what to attack right but also does some damage itself oh for sake explosives though they’ll get you come come on oh dear why did you put this on it’s in white universe is this press it’s scared oh I got my money back preds that just died or something totally different this is just the early game this is this is the um the prank he’s not actually recording anything he’s just here watching us suffer he’s going to end this by going anyway I’ve decided I’m not doing terrari anymore yeah I might decide that at this point there we go oh no oh yeah the footage corrupted don’t no what a oh no any anyway anyway hey Fester here’s a tip like if you build a bridge no if you just get good you can go s is Health in swimming is healthy in real life but not in game Terraria you don’t need to do cardio in in Terraria oh for Flip’s sake it was a life Crystal Boulder are you kidding me what’s a life Crystal Boulder there was a boulder that looked like a live Crystal so I tried to break it and it killed me oh that’s really true aming me that’s amazing did you get a life Crystal though no no Shin he died if anything you lost a life Crystal oh Jesus well at least I got my money back I haven’t been trapped once yet that sounds like a you problem no no no it’s it’s it’s a it’s a me success
