THE MURASAMA’S FINAL REWORK…

here I have an official sneak peek of the upcoming miros Sama rework where we’ll look into the new progression upgrades orament and special ability systems to the murus armor like the Arsenal armor sets this is going to get super complicated so I’ll structure the video in progression order and showcase how each special attack works also thanks to Calamity developer Dia for helping out sourcing this information and for the amazing artwork first is a default attack which be unlocked at post Moon Lord this is your typical true melee blade just holding left click to attack back and nothing much to say about this te so for the next upgrade we have it at post Providence and will provide you with a large slash attack the way these special attacks would work is based on the charge system and then inputting a secondary action so for the large slash attack this would be activated by simply holding the right click to charge while not tapping the up or down directional keys this does the most damage out of all specials in a single hit potentially making it the safest option due to only needing to land one successful strike at post alter gas we unlock augments which are these little icons I showed you in the beginning as you can see each special ability has two augment slots which can either be mixed and matched or stacked together taking the warp strike orent for example paired with the big slash can make for an extremely strong Synergy but I’ll come back to explain all the augments later as we first need to cover the last couple of special attacks after defeating any Sentinel either signis storm waver or cus void you’ll be given a Teleport free use meaning you get a dash without waiting for the charge then we have rapid slashes at the post devour of God stage in which after performing a dash you are able to very swiftly strike all enemies this move has the greatest potential to deal the highest DPS but it’s more difficult to land every single hit making it more optimally used against yarn’s phase transitions or any stationary was for that matter and the last attack for the muras Arma will be unlocked after y giving it the sore slash ability this is activated by charging up the blade whilst holding the W key and works as a Mobility tool allowing you to easily catch up to fast bosses like the EXO twins similar to The Glorious end the source spin will perfectly track your mouse cursor as well keep in mind reworks like this can always be subject to change but those with the proposed special abilities and now onto the augments list the range augment can be applied to the large rapid and sore slashes apply to either the large or rapid slash will allow you to dash 15 tiles before slashing applying two of these augments it extends the dash to 30 tiles whilst applying the range augment to the saw slash will throw the saw out like a boomerang traveling 20 tiles applying two of these oraments to the sore slash will extend the throw to 40 tiles and accelerates 100% faster on return for the quick footed augment this can be applied to the normal rapid and S slashes applying it to the normal slashes increases your movement speed by 20% and your flly jump Dash and dash Distance by 10% while swinging the blade the level two augment increases your movement speed to 40% while improving the previous mentioned stats to 20% for the rapid slashes the quick footed augment will increase your movement speed flight speed and jump speed by 20% and this is increased the 40% at level two while using the ormento S spin increases the flight speed and acceleration by 30% and this increases to 60% with double stacked augments the refresh augment can be applied to the large rapid and sore slashes after using either one of these attacks you get another free charge attack putting the ability on cool down double stacking the refresh augments increases the cool down period but resets all other ability cool Downs excluding the refresh and teleport cool Downs the warp strike augment can be applied to both default and large slashes the first strike after a Teleport guarantees a Critical Strike and Deals a 25% increase damage and the level two augment gr the muras the chance to Super crit for 300% damage those were all what I like to call the complicated or but we still have four more that apply certain on hit effects on all attacks the suer augment at level one creates three smaller slashes after a successful strike on an enemy while level two creates six slashes Hemorrhage inflicts molten blood on enemies dealing 100 DPS for 2 seconds and double stacking this augment increases the effectiveness of molten blood to 200 DPS with a 4C duration blood field grants all attacks LIF steel and the level two augment increases the life steal cap allowing for more consistent healing for longer periods of time armor cleave increases armor penetration by 15 and decreases enemy defense by 15% while the upgraded version increases the armor pen to 30 and reduces the enemy defense by 30% that was the rework preview so subscribe for updates and goodbye

  1. Mage needs more love man 😢
    Ranger has lots of cool high quality weapons with good animations all over the progression.
    And mage has a lot of boring weapons, not creative or with no animations at all.

  2. I LOVE that Calamity is playing around with augments and sub-builds; It reminds me of Stars Above. I'm so excited to eventually be able to play around with it and try different things.

  3. This is cool and everything but, why just why don’t they re-sprite Yharon? all his weapons are but why not him? He is really ugly compared to every other boss…

  4. Is it just me or does every weapon rework get more complicated than the previous?
    like the biome blade rework but there you had to craft the new weapon for the upgrades

  5. THIS is what true melee needs!

    I have maintained, charge attacks and mobility uses are necesary for true melee to be good, for minimizing damage downtime, incentivizing holding weapons while not hitting, and actually being able to reach and hit bosses safely.

  6. Calamity devs on their way to rework good weapons before adding Post-ML world exploration and content that isn't a boss rush or recycled events

  7. this'll probably come with some nerfs and stuff since it's gonna be moved to post moonlord, but who knows? maybe this'll be a precedent for weapons to have a similar system

  8. It makes sense that the murasama is this complex and powerful, it’s one of draedon’s best works, other than the exo mechs
