We have reached the penultimate day of Wave 1. It’s time for the magical forest spirits that are the Junimo. They are basically a mascot for the game and are your first glimpse that all is not as it appears in Stardew Valley.
Pick a song you believe best represents the Junimo as characters, reminds you of them in some way, or one that you believe they would listen to on their own!
Now please be kind, be creative, and be having fun!

My submission for the little guys is “We could he heroes” by Alesso ft. Tove Lo.
I don’t think this is a song people immediately associate with the junimos, but I chose it because I feel like the message can apply to the farmer when the game starts: the farmer moved to the valley to escape from their old sould crushing job at Joja, and discovering the junimos at the abandoned community center opens up the possibility to do extraordinary stuff, if you join them.
This may be too cheesy, but honestly out of any of the characters in this lineup, none of them give pure “this is the true heart of Stardew Valley” like the Junimos. The source of the magic that makes the game, the iconic symbol of what we all love so much. The Junimos get the Stardew Valley Overture.
I’ll nominate [Lost Woods from The Legend of Zelda- Ocarina of Time] (https://youtu.be/Ljqe4Nj7nBA?si=U2WhRe1FOSnVhCYz). It has that same whimsical vibe that I associate with the Junimos while still maintaining the whole nature theme. There’s a few other songs, but this is the first one that came to mind.
I guess I’ll drop another. [Eterna Forest from Pokemon Diamond and Pearl](https://youtu.be/KqkMem4XeJQ?si=lNL7vrK5AE_3ay6N). It opens up with that same mysterious vibe, but quickly becomes upbeat and invokes a spirit of adventure. Same could be said for the Junimos and the Community Center. They’re strange at first, but once you understand what they want, you can’t help but want to explore as much of the valley as you can. Not to mention you first encounter them in the Community Center and this is the saying that plays in the area where the Old Chateau is found. Really liking forward to how this playlist turns out.
