stardy Valley has always been packed with secrets and Easter eggs that hide just below the surface so it’s no surprise that the 1.6 update brought all new secrets to discover here are my favorites that I’ve discovered so far if you learn something new Smash that like button and if you new every single one be sure to comment kobis so everyone knows you’re a monster farmer anyway let’s Jump Right In it is possible to use the sword swing glitch to reach the summit before actually reaching 100% Perfection I’m happy to report that in 1.6 this glitch still exists but Mr gy has apparently had enough of everyone exploiting the fabric of the valley if a farmer manages to glitch their way to the summit before actually achieving Perfection the normal Summit background will be replaced with a blank screen full of glitched Sprites a cut scene with a very disgusted Mr key will play where he will Rush at the farmer causing need to pulse out and wake up at Harvey’s Clinic whenever you try the same trick again you will pulse out immediately after reaching the summit so what’s the lesson here use the glitch and get a rare cut scene sounds like a win-win to me sometimes it is really the little things that can make you the happiest one of my favorite small details of s Valley is the many ways you can mess around with the title screen and in 1.6 when you click the concern date it has a chance to turn green I’m not entirely sure if there is a specific weight Trigger or if it just happens randomly but it is a nice surprise to find a new loading screen Easter egg after all of this time when our beloved ape isn’t turning green he could appear wearing sunglasses click them and they’ll disappear with a little quack sound in the background I guess he needs those sunglasses for the bright future that’s hopefully just around the corner did you know you can add certain items to your fish tank to change it dis appearance simply hold the item and right click on the tank if you right click on the tank without holding anything you’ll get a list of all the items currently inside with the option to remove them as well also the location and appearance of these fish tank decorations are completely random so no need to remove and replace your items you can actually just pick up the entire tank and once you put it down everything inside will Shuffle itself around how convenient got to get those shorts front and center am I right speaking of the mayor’s Infamous pants if you’re not sure how to get it I actually did make a guide on it so feel free to check it out and yes it will involve making friends with our elusive animal expert and Louis’s secret lover once you have your hands on mayor Lewis’s purple shorts grab a fishing rod and head to your favorite fishing spot place the shorts in your Tackle Spot and your bobber will transform into the distinctive lucky purple shorts bobber you’re basically harnessing these Charming shorts to win over the fish this bubble prevents an equipped tackle from losing durability which is a quite underrated Strat that most people don’t even know about and yes I did discover this one in my NeverEnding quest to get the purple shorts everywhere I can now you’ll have to place the shorts in the first slot of an advanced iridium Rod which you can get by claiming the fishing moery this is the only way to get the durability boost but you could still use the shorts on normal rods while you won’t get the Boost you will be the most stylish Fisher in town I would definitely recommend this one for fishing festivals bonus points if the mayor is standing close by one of my favorite parts of stard Valley is the many different festivals in year one you’ll check your calendar and count the days to these special occasions but in the following years you could get a bit tired of the same old lines and mini games is it really worth it to beat Abigail for the ninth time in a row or be able to do the spurts Eve maze with your eyes closed now we did get a bunch of new festivals but the update went even further to improve our existing Festival experience the egg hunt and winter stor maze are now different each year finally making Abigail able to take a revenge on the helpless Farmer on year two a great part about festivals is that you can easily talk to everyone in town without running around the map so another nice touch is that everyone’s dialogue has been updated for festivals as the years pass now you don’t have to skip through 20 conversations after hearing them a million times on the subject of festivals the Feast of winter star got updated in a major way make Santa happy and he’ll leave you a few mystery boxes to help your calls first get yourself a table in true festive Spirit you can put up some milk or cookies on this table before the Feast of the winter star and the next morning it will be mysteriously replaced by a mystery box you can leave cookies as well as normal or large cow or goat milk this is honestly such a cute addition and I’m happy for another way to get mystery boxes since it’ll help getting enough golden boxes for more magic rock candy thanks Santa next we have the stard sewers you can unlock this location by obtaining the rusty key of the Don ating 60 artifacts or minerals to the museum the sewers can be entered either through the sewer cover in the south of pelicant town or through the greates in the South cindersap Forest this is the home of kobis our beloved platonic roommate he sells some rare items and it’s just a joy to have around in the new update opening your map and clicking the sewer pipe will play the sound of a Shadow Monster or the Shadow People tracking the farmer through the map how have we never questioned question that the farmer has a magical map that shows their exact location I guess we’re chalking this one up to Shadow Magic you can find a prize ticket hidden inside a secret box gift head north from Clint shop and JoJo Mar to where the book seller sets up shop with your copper or better axe chop through the stum blocking the fence off area sweep up the weeds until you can reach the back of this tree where you’ll find a blue wrapped up present this box will drop the secret prize ticket for l is this prize machine just an extra little reward for getting the axe upgrade early like I needed any more motivation have you heard about the rarest piece of furniture in stardy Valley the cursed mannequin can be dropped by slaying a haunted skull each night once you’re all tucked in this creepy clothes holder has a chance to do one of three things if placed inside of your house first it can get jealous of your outfit and you will wake up with the clothes you were wearing suddenly on the mannequin vice versa the farmer will be wearing whatever the mannequin was wearing when you went to bed creepy if this happens the mannequin will gain the power of sight for a small part of the morning secondly the mannequin is able to move to a random place in your house where it will also magically have eyes for a short time lastly it can be very picky about the wallpaper in its room and throw a tempered tantrum the wallpaper will magically change and it will be V ly shaking when you wake up and whatever you do definitely do not rotate the cursed mannequin a bunch of times in a row you really don’t want to anger this magical Menace consider this your only warning the beauty of St Valley Secrets is that they’re all kind of hidden in plain sight and could be found by some occasional messing around and keeping an open mind if you’re playing the game purely toss focused you might never even find some of these thanks for watching the video it has been a joy to come over every corner of the valley in search of
