if you can, take a video on your phone every time a new sequence comes up and stop recording. for me, i have numbered each stone 1-5 with the leftmost being 1 and rightmost being 5. I watch the video and write down the numbered sequence on paper and then follow it from there.

I think it slows down a bit each time you fail. I usually get it eventually but I really hate that puzzle.

Non switch, non mobile users- record with phone and go slow- write down what colors.
Switch users- use the record feature.
Mobile users- if you have screen recording software- use it and pause the game to review the footage. If you don’t have that, use another device that can record or a friend to help you.

I record it in my phone and then play it back 1/4 speed.
I think I went old school, took out a pad of paper, and wrote out the first letter of the color as it played. But it’s been a while.
