yeah I love speed running stardo I’ve been doing it for a couple of years and uh yeah whenever you’re ready we’ll start and then I’ll you don’t want to introduce yourself after we start so we can get with their friends me also I like how juul said um he likes playing St uh stardo with leea but like totally didn’t say us and you guys too yeah what the um okay hey so you might be wondering why we’re just sleeping and redecorating our houses oh we’re supposed to be decorating I didn’t know we were decorating yeah I forgot to oh my gosh okay okay I’m down let’s go okay um I got we need to go to Winter because by far the fastest way to make money in a speedrun sense is to uh exploit a little trick um in the winter called winter tilling um basically by manipulating the pattern of tiles that you use your hoe on it can give you certain results mainly um winter root and snow yams um and those are an average of 85 gold each so we’re going to go to and we’re going to get a lot of money um you want to talk about why we need money over there yeah sure I can talk about why we need money who doesn’t need money we all need money right true um all right so basically what we’re going to be doing with that money is we need to purchase a membership to guys don’t hate me joa we we’re going to sell out to joa I’m sorry I’m sorry it’s the fastest way we just we got to we got to do what we got to do yeah it’s a speedrun so on the first day we’re actually going to be getting 5,000 gold and we’re going to be buying some food and some coffee who likes coffee it’s morning time I know you guys got your coffee out there um and then we’re going to need money later on in the run so we can buy the Vault bundle uh sorry the bus bundle we’re not going to need the Vault for this run um and the bus will be taking us to the desert and uh yeah we’re going to be able to get into the skull Cavern without reaching the bottom of the mines which is a new strot in 1.6 so we get to showcase on the brand new update for stard which came out just a few months ago so yeah we’re ready so for those of you who are unfamiliar with the game um in the in the desert there is a cave which is endless and it spawns random floors and enemies and um it’s just kind of like you know the the harder variant of the regular Minds if you’ve ever played the game um and someone decided I think was like a year or two ago that they wanted to see how fast they could get down to level 100 so um this category was born just from people you know trying to do the minds as fast as possible which as we all know is a RNG Fest so my hopefully we get some luck in the minds in the in the skull caverns and we get some hashtag droppies hash droppies droppies droppies droppies we’re going to need some droppies so every time we see a shaft um we call them droppies um and by we I mean when we started running this uh turp called it a droppy and so now it’s called droppy so we love droppies here so we’re going to need your help later on but uh yes summer 3 we click always yeah cuz there’s an earthquake um that opens up something that we don’t even care about um um excuse me I like to go to the bath house sometimes okay wait a minute you guys are going to see some pretty crazy stuff uh coming up here first off you’re you’re going to notice we’re using our tools really fast especially me I’m going to be I’m going to be we all use tools f i I don’t know if you guys have my game audio but it gets a little crazy when I’m doing what I’m doing so basically we are using this pattern um that actually I’ve worked on quite a bit over the last few years um and leat and jewels are going to be on the beach and they get to do a really nice satisfying pattern where they till the whole Beach and it’s really beautiful meanwhile I get to uh suffer a little bit and do a really Advanced Tech where I use a different pattern that I can just do it right next to marne’s Ranch and luckily my cabin’s going to be right down there so I can just go at it all day um yeah and I’ll just be sleeping oh yeah TPS just kind to be in bed the whole time I don’t really want to help out I don’t feel like she got tired she she has to work really hard in the morning so yeah exactly now I’ll be going to the mines uh because we need level one and level two mining in order to make some cool stuff for school Caverns such as bombs which I’ll be able to get when I have level one and then level two I’ll be able to build staircases with 99 Stone very important um so if you want to call me the backbone to this team that’s fine uh I wouldn’t say that I think we’re all important here I just feed you it’s fine yeah I am hoping you do get a femur in the mind I know fingers crossed we need that weapon that would be really helpful yeah cuz there’s many times that we’ve run this and I just end up with the rusty sword which is as good as a scythe honestly oh yeah Scythe is a good weapon Scythe is a good weapon we’re doing almost no preparation for the mines we’re going to make some money to buy some materials for bombs and then we’re going to upgrade our pickaxes but other than that we don’t have any reliable weapon we don’t we’re just going to have food and bombs and we’re just going to go at it so yeah we like to live on the edge yeah if you’re new to stardo I don’t recommend going to the skull Cavern without a weapon no no hey look at that all right winter winter winter winter winter good luck I I have a question while we’re making our way over um piano is there a reason why you let just me and my husband down on the beach is it because we like long walks on the beach or a i it’s kind of cute kind of romantic actually so my owl Noe get out of my way all right let’s go no time all right where do we want the owl it’s right here in the Quarry oh by the way um if you’ve seen other stard do speedruns you probably have like see Forest Farm or other Farms get used a lot more however we’re doing Hilltop and the reason for that is is because we got a quarry right here on the farm so I’m able to just go for all this to here and get level one without even entering the mines and I get to sleep right next to it so no he let’s put that there I don’t want that broken CD that you left it’s okay and I already got level one so that’s nice nice That’s fine oh it’s second hoe pattern nice wow can I get that too please no that’s okay uh so you may be thinking wow stardew is a really relaxing casual chill game and then you look over at piano screen you’re like what yeah it’s pretty accurate actually so basically this is the the clay farm pattern or winter tail pattern the clay Farm is a bit different um basically you go in uh the chest piece move like up one left two and uh that always drops a winter forage once you find it and then you do a pattern of uh nine to go backwards one or or 10 to go up one good night night tur tiies tiies it’s nice to be in bed on a winter day yeah that does sound quite nice yeah what’s it like to be on the beach in the freezing um I mean I’m okay I guess that’s good yeah so um if you go back to bed after being out and like depleting your energy slowly but surely my energy bar is going back up so that’s why I go to bed um I will be leaving my bed I’m just taking a little nap I’m just a little sweepy so yeah I have to undo everything I just did so that I can do it again um all right I should be good so as we make this money it can be a little bit challenging to um communicate a little bit turp is going to be able to uh talk about her Minds run and me Marley and Me no um you uh he gives you a a weapon that really sucks but at least it’s better than nothing so true oh my gosh imagine hitting a rock think Tonk think Tonk so we’re going to have cut scene in five 4 3 2 1 F so we push F really quickly so we can cancel out that cut scene it’s a thing that you’ll see in speedr running quite a bit um as much as the cut scenes are beautiful in a casual play in a speedrun they just slow you down true so I’m just going to go sell what we just HED up and you can see uh we have a couple dollars 2,000 just a couple dollar and I’m on my last line just so you guys know it’s a little strong perfect let me see if I can get to level five let’s go I got to level five good job thank you can you make some hype all right I’m headed up to s’s H we might be short on coffee today but that’s okay that’s fine and I go into um Gus no not Gus hi Clint there we go names I remember them sometimes all right I’ve sold I clearly don’t I’ve bought everything I need I bought the resources to make a furnace because we’re upgrading our pickaxe may I spend all of our money then too M thank you I love spending money okay me too you know what else I you’re doing right now I am smelting all the copper di a spot so that we can upgrade our pickaxes so we’re sleeping for 16 days so that 15 days so I can sell it but that ends up on the Wednesday and then we can’t sell on that Wednesday so we’re waiting close CU we’re we’re supporting capitalism so how do you upgrade your tools and stard do obviously we’re smelting copper but what do you do with them right then you bring it to Clint and with 2,000 gold and then you can upgrade your tools and then we can uh you know do clay farming without tools without a pickaxe which is awesome good luck it goes into no mistake mode and I think we already said this but the reason why we’re upgrading our pickaxe is so that we can break rocks a lot faster ding DK ding ding uh quick Dono yep absolutely we have $50 here from clarinet hero who says I woke up early to catch this stardo run and everyone’s asleep I mean technically we’re asleep too when you think about it audience are you asleep or are you is slow and passing out and appearing in your house is quick please don’t try that in real life this only works in stardew Valley okay we’re good good plan good plan good to exhaust um have we talked about why we’re swinging our tools so quickly exactly or how we do that um cuz I’m sure people are wondering I don’t think we did we can talk about that we got a little bit time here um so animation cancelling is a hardcoded um debug tool that can turn theye added to fix a fishing rod soft lock basically if you hit right shift delete and R it resets your farmer to its default State um which cancels out of tool actions and for some reason um the actual action of tools happens about 10 frames after using it and not after about a 30 Frame Window um and that allows us to cut about 20 frames off of every Tool animation which as you can imagine gets pretty pretty fast um if you ever watch a task do it it’s it’s insane so and no we’re not hitting those buttons we are allowed to rebind it to spacebar yes 3 to one Merry Christmas Merry Christ Christmas we got oh we slept through Christmas that’s awkward okay yes checking my mail oh yeah checking my mail as well okay I think I got all my money okay all right easy 2K um and the reason we were able to get just some free random money in the mail is because uh we chose the female character and that gives us money uh for making money so well well explained I like that thank you uh and if you choose um male then you just you get cookies oh you found it okay good so not as exciting all right unless you really like cookies every day when we go to the beach on this day we’re like please pattern be there please pattern be there so exciting when it’s there all right so let’s see if I can pull this off too oh let’s go okay y so they don’t have pickaxes so they can’t make any mistakes right now so yeah and I don’t have my pickaxe either but I don’t so instead of going to the mines I I am making some bombs that I was able to I got drop Dr [Music] dropy yeah so the droppies you can get from 3 to 15 floor but you take damage taking it but it’s super fast so super lad right mommy mommy don’t K me please Mommy Mommy Mommy Mommy
