What if you de-craft a pick axe on 1 durability and then re-craft it?

I’ve been saying for a while that decrafting is almost never useful — it fixes mistakes and that’s it. In a few cases (nether wart blocks) there’s game design reasons that no reverse recipe exists.

Wish granted, however you lose 50% of the materials while doing so. (2 items become one)

You can buy Diamond Hoes for 4 emeralds apiece from Journey-level Toolsmiths. Being able to decraft those would be blatantly overpowered.
