Now onto the cutest member of Pelican Town! Yeah, I said it and I’m tired of people pretending he’s not. Krobus is a national treasure who deserves to be protected and given only the finest music playlist of the lot!

Pick a song you believe best represents Krobus as a character, reminds you of him in some way, or one that you believe he would listen to on his own!

Now please be kind, be creative, and be having fun!

Living in Darkness, by Agent Orange

Probably not mainstream enough to get traction, but this song suits him really well, and not just the title.

    I like things that bite
    Things that creep at night
    Everybody’s asking me
    What’s it like down there?
The concrete floor is cold, the walls are bare
    I feel safest being alone
Living in darkness, living in a world of my own

Krobus likes things we’d consider creepy. He lives “down there” with bare walls and a concrete floor. And most importantly, the point of the song is that he’s not self-pitying about his situation, he just feels that it’s best for everybody to stay in his world. Same with Krobus.

  2. Kerosene by Crystal Castles. Dark, energetic, definitely a vibe. I can see Krobus bumping it in the sewer.

I have literally been keeping an eye out for this day in particular. I have no suggestions, I just love the shadow boi.

  4. Sunn 0))) – [It took the night to believe](https://youtu.be/7c6uMbP4–E?si=TscGXo99IASwkLaP)

I’ve been waiting for this moment since the beginning!

As Krobus is a night and mystical creature it would be totally expected that he would not listen to well know or common songs. I also imagine that he would listen to a lot of noise and dark ambient sound (sewer and night natural noises).

So, Sun 0))) is the perfect fit (ambient drone metal). “It took the night to believe” also totally fits the dark theme and Krobus night habits.

Also the idea of Krobus cutely vibing and dancing to this omnious strange and different rythm sound would be funny.

I thought I would be Clever Dan and say “Toxic Love” from Fern Gully. But the lyrics are just too mean, so I got nothing.

  6. My beloved monster – eels. From shrek. He’s a marriage candidate after all:3

Based on the number of people who want to ditch their spouses to live with Krobus, I’d say You’re My Best Friend by Queen.

Just chiming in to make sure we get Diggy Diggy Hole for tomorrow.

    Sharp-Dressed Man for the Mayor?

Either the heavist heavy metal song out there(idk any specific ones) or bubble tea😊

    Spooky scary skeletons

Light-hearted and fun, people mostly play it during Halloween and it’s just lifts up my spirit
I listen to the Undead Tumbstone remix each year 😀

    Space Oddity – David Bowie

I have no explanation, it simply vibes. It has a loneliness and introspection that I feel fits for Krobus.

    Ghost Duet by Louie Zong

It’s “spooky,” or at least it pretends to be, but it’s actually just a really cute, gentle, and happy tune.

Krobus is the love of my life. They’re a little monster guy, but their need for dark, damp, humid spaces and their literal monster status don’t make them vibe with actually “dark” music at all. Krobus is a sweetie. Krobus is just a little guy. Friend of all friends. Thoughtful and kind. Bashful, sweet, and loving. I could go on, I really love Krobus, but I think the most representative music would take into account that at the end of the day, they’re super wholesome.

  13. Fish Heads by Barnes & Barnes (replacing the fish heads with void eggs, natch).

Feels like the first time – Foreigner

But I would change the lyrics to say Krobus instead of women

  15. I’m getting ready for tomorrow, for there is only one song that unites all Dwarves across multiple universes.
