Steam Summer Sale 2024 Deals that I Recommend

here’s some deals in the Steam summer sale that I recommend first off starty Valley under $10 is a steal if you’re on console and just can’t wait for the 1.6 update here’s your chance $2 game of the year 2018 Contender for $2 if you haven’t played Celeste yet it’s an emotional story platformer pretty difficult but there’s a ton of options to tune the difficulty to your liking house slipper 1 is 70% off and house flipper 2 is 25% off both have you doing odd jobs cleaning houses the differences are house flipper 1 has a ton of community content in DLC while two has more refined mechanics and the ability to build a house from scratch both great games grounded is half off for $20 it’s a survival crafting game that takes place in a backyard after you’ve been shrunken down very Honey I Shrunk the kid score the enemies are mostly insects and spiders and I’m warning you now just in case you’re sensitive to that

I’m genuinely baffled by some of these prices. Also, I’m tired of seeing Steam Deal videos that just list off the top sellers, so here’s some games that I actually like!

  1. There are way too many games I would recommend people to buy so I will give a few from different genres.
Platformer: Please if you haven't tried Celeste and like 2D platformers give it a shot.
Metroidvania: Hollow Knight has incredible combat, visuals, and music.
Tower Defense: Bloons TD is the greatest TD game to ever be released with so much praise everywhere.
Roguelites/likes: Slay the Spire, Risk of Rain 2, Hades, and Inscryption are all games I couldn't recommend enough.
AAA Games: Baldur's Gate 3 is one of the most ambitious games ever made and my personal favorite game of all time (I love D&D and the amount of options this game gives you is insane). Elden Ring is a masterpiece in almost all senses; the world was built with the help of George R.R. Martin arguably the greatest fantasy author of all time with inspiration from the likes of the manga Berserk it has incredible boss design, builds, an absolutely beautiful world and is a must play. Finally, the Witcher 3 I'm not going to lie I wasn't the biggest fan of the combat in this game, but the story and world are almost second to none and for $4 it's an absolute steal.

Overall, I have completed all the games on this list with almost over 50 hours in all of these games (except Inscryption which is a one-time experience for me). And I would recommend all of them especially Baldur's Gate 3 as I truly believe that game is special. You can play it with friends or alone and have an absolute blast either way. I have over 400 hours on the game and I don't think I had a single bad memory during all this time, whether it was trolling with my friends (we did a run where we tried to be the worst people possible), or just trying to seriously play through please try that game if it's up your alley.

  2. Stardew Valley is a must. I started playing again this month after years without playing. I now have 60 hours played in the last 3 weeks. Crazy addictive and fun.

  3. Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator are also both 90% off right now. I highly recommend ETS2 since it has a lot of different mods and offers a ton of regions you can drive in, it's a pretty relaxing game in my opinion

  4. Another game thats on sale thats incredibly good is noita. Noita is a physics based rogulite with emphasis on secrets and building wands to do pretty much anything, kill, dig, tellaport, you name it

  5. I also highly recommend Satisfactory. Price will go up after discount, 1.0 full release is about to drop with a ton of new features. Full transparency of devs, super nice game.

  6. Slay the Princess is currently 25% off, the best discount it’s going to get this year (will get 20% with the release of the Pristine Cut). It’s a psychological horror visual novel with a great story that can be experienced multiple ways and gorgeous artwork, as well as phenomenal performances by Jonathan Sims and Nicole Goodnight. The Pristine Cut will add more to what’s already a pretty meaty game come fall, but the price it’s being sold at now is lower and the PC will be added for free.

Scarlet Hollow by the same creators is also 25% off. Haven’t played it, but heard a lot of good things about it. You can also get both games for 36% off if you bundle them together.
