I’ve played the game an embarrassingly long amount of time, and have NEVER done a melee playthrough. I always just thought it was boring. But I am absolutely stuck on wall of flesh fight, which is embarrassing
Weapons are reforged to demonic/godly, and accessories to menacing.

Yes, a lot of people do class specific or weapon specific (yo-yos, guns, etc.) playthroughs, also for the wall of flesh fight it looks like your bridge is a little small from what I see on the minimap. A big enough bridge should be an 8th to a 4th of the underworld
You mean melee damage only or true melee? If you’re willing to use Night’s Edge, I’d replace the yoyo stuff with feral claw/bone hand and just use that. If you’re having trouble with spacing, it’s easier on a minecart than solid ground imo
If you still have trouble after that, use buff potions.
i decided to use all of the classes in one playthrough, switching inbetween phases, pre-boss? ranged, pre-skeletron? melee and so on and on
would recommend buffs and night’s edge on the eye to tear it to shreds
Yes. Ive done true melee as well. Melee is definently the most fun class to me, especially with the new weapon changes so im not just secretly another projectile spam class

Use your nights edge. it’s one of, if not, the best weapon against it. And REFORGE YOUR ACCESSORIES TO WARDING.
Reforge your accessories to warding, it’s honestly the best reforge unless you’re planning a no-hit run or something. Also use Night’s Edge only, there honestly isn’t a better melee weapon against it
