if you were to change the creeper’s texture how would you do it?

I always find it kinda funny and sad that Minecraft dungeons and legends are so cool and unique compared to normal minecraft. Imagine if they added in piglin invasions or more diversified pillagers and the crazy large weapon pool of dungeons.

  2. If it had to be changed, I would change it to match either modern oak leaves or modern grass blocks, since they were originally made to do that.

My favorite creeper retexture is probably [this one.](https://imgur.com/JQRhbw1)

It was made by the same people who made the Fresh Animations resource pack as an extension.

It looks fairly similar to the Dungeons creeper but with more detail. Dungeons had a lot more vibrant art style compared to the base game so changing the creeper texture to the Dungeons counterpart isn’t really an option. However, I can see it being redesigned as a blend of the original and the Dungeons creeper, which is probably what the Fresh Animations team was going for.

In my opinion the creeper isn’t about its texture but the design itself, so I wouldn’t mind if it got changed in the future.

  4. If they wanted to do that so badly, I think they would make creeper variety. Which by the way, I would love to see.

    They should be scared.

Their destruction would be upon them if they did change it

I wouldn’t, it’s such a neat little thing that it’s literally some green noize, given the entire idea of creeper is just it being a bugged mob

  7. I mean, I wouldn’t be against it, after all their texture is just the old leaf block texture on a white background.

  8. The original texture was meant to camouflage with the bright glowing grass of the time. The grass texture has changed so the creeper doesn’t match anymore. If anything is changed with the texture, they should make it match the new grass texture.
