Since this is early game and I don’t have the minecarts, I take the bottom route so I can check the three trashcans along the way and hope for something useful.

I usually take the bottom route because I think you go past more villagers most days. But if I’m in a rush I take the top path, I think it’s slightly faster and that makes a difference when it’s almost 4
