PURIFYING Your World is Easier Than Ever in Terraria 1.4.4

cleaning your world of corruption and hallow has never been an easy task the speed at which these biomes spread is terrifying and before the 1.4.4 update getting rid of them was a total nightmare you would spend hours digging tunnels all over your world and after using up all your green solution and checking every corner for missed blocks you would return to your base and consult the dryad to check the status of your world and she would always say there was still 1% left and this would keep happening over and over probably never stopping because every time you destroyed an altar a random stone block on your map would become corrupted and by the time you noticed it was already too late but with the arrival of version 1.4.4 many changes came to Terraria and one notable addition was a new achievement that required you to purify your entire world from hallow corruption and Crimson to help players get this achievement three big changes were added to the game the first is that alars no longer transform stone blocks when destroyed this greatly reduced the spread of evil biomes and worlds created in this version the second big change was adding a new potion to the game the biome site potion when you drink it it highlights all the blocks that are corrupt Crimson or hallowed it may not seem like much but this completely changed the game as the list of blocks that can contaminate your world is quite extensive and any block Left Behind can reinfect the entire region lastly they added a new biome the Shimmer without going into too much detail all you need to know is that the clentaminator got an upgrade after beating the moon Lord you can dunk it in Shimmer to turn it into the terraformer this upgraded version has a 33% chance of not using up Solutions and does the same job as the claminator but way better I don’t even need to say how the terraformer has improved the quality of life in the game cleaning the world with it instead of the contaminator has made life much easier and with the sniper scope for better Vision combined with the biome site potion getting this achievement is a lot less of a hassle but there’s a small problem the dryad checks your world’s status from time to time so even if it’s completely purified she might still report a small percentage of corruption or hallow if this happens just reload your world and it’ll Force the check to happen again showing the right status and unlocking the achievement according to steam less than 2% of players have fully purified their worlds so I hope this video helps increase that percentage thanks to everyone who watched until the end and I’ll see you in the next one [Music]

Purifying the world has always been a time-consuming task, and no matter how hard i tried, there was always an infected block left behind. But after the 1.4.4 update, this process has become much easier.
