Terraria, But Damaging Enemies UPGRADE Reworked Melee Weapons…

in this video I try beating Terraria using melee weapons only but these aren’t just your regular melee weapons they’ve been reworked completely changing their attacks not only that but every time I damage an enemy I get an experience that goes towards these weapons with each level increases the damage critical side chance size attack speed and best of all additional projectiles just how strong will these weapons become stay tuned to find out let’s get this thing started so my aim is to gather the four Swords needed to craft the knight’s Edge which are the blade of grass blood butcherer mamasa and the volcano I can start farming materials for these weapons right away because I have a sword but with the copper shortsword it’s going to take forever so I’m going to try to find or craft a better weapon first but for now let’s gather some wood okay that’s enough wood for now 257 let’s explore for the left side of the world first there’s a chest climbing claws okay got the spear here is my first life Crystal oh my God this is a lot of diamonds enough for a hook oh so close just need three more ooh P claws perfect for my melee weapons oo okay that’s enough diamonds for a diamond hook warding shoe spikes I’ll take that okay night vision helmets I can definitely use this for now I found some more Life Crystals down here so after these three I’ll only need to mine three more for Max Health there we go one more to go here’s the last life Crystal for Max health and I found some more gravitation potions perfect that should be good for now let’s back home and then let’s build a small house to store all of my stuff away all right inventory is cleared out a bit let’s first craft the diamond hook the gold pickaxe and a full set of silver armor I now have 17 defense not bad now to get a better weapon than the copper shortsword and spear I will be drinking the gravitation potion to try to find some sky islands for the star Fury here’s the first sky Island and there’s a starfury second Sky Island shiny Red Balloon and for the last one lucky horseshoe now let’s check out what has changed about the starfury it has 30 melee damage 4% Critical Strike chance and this is what the attacks look like visually more appealing now for the speed of the falling stars I can’t really tell if they’re faster or not it looks like it but not too sure let’s also check out how much experience I’m going to get in a single hit so right now it has 81 points of experience one hit 87 so I gained six points of experience now with a better weapon I can start farming the other four Swords to craft the knight’s Edge and the first one that I’ll be getting is the blade of grass so I need 12 Stingers 15 jungle spores and three Vines I did manage to farm three Vines and 12 jungle spores from earlier so I just need to get three more jungle spores and 12 more Stingers found the sharpening station and a cloud in a bottle okay I’m good on jungle spores and that’s enough Stingers now I can craft the blade of grass 22 La damage 7% Critical Strike chance and the attacks look like this so this one is different compared to the original version instead of the projectiles going in a circle it just shoots straightforward which I prefer next up the blood butcherer I’m going to need 10 Crim bars so my plan is to just take on the brain of cthulu I do have Max health and 20 defense so I think I should be good let’s build an arena first okay that should be good and now let’s break some Crimson Hearts there we go okay creepers are almost all done and second phase and thank God this weapon is able to inflict poison so that will help differentiate which is the real one more easily okay maybe not the poison just wore off and all done let’s check out the level of my blade of grass now so just from the boss alone it has gained two levels so it now has 26 melee damage and 9% Critical Strike chance anything different with the attacks though doesn’t seem like it but what if I attack a monster oh it has a chance to deal double the hits with a single projectile let’s try it again yeah there we go oh this is pretty strong then I am going to defeat the B of culu one more time just to make sure that I have enough critin ore and tissue samples for the full set of crimson armor and the deathbringer pickaxe damn okay that was much faster let’s first craft the full Crimson armor 22 defense now and increase life regeneration also whenever I take damage I will gain a buff so the buff increases my damage by 10% and can steal the life of nearby enemies then let’s craft the deathbringer pickaxe as well as the blood butcherer unfortunately this has shotty on it but it won’t matter anyways since it’s a material for the unit’s Edge but it has 25 Mele damage and looks like this oh yeah that’s definitely new it’s now able to shoot out a projectile that life steals but let’s head over to the dungeon now to take on Skeletron to get my hands on the merasa okay the arena is all complete but it just turned to daytime so let’s wait until the next night to summon the boss in the meantime I’m going to try to find myself a pair of Hermes boots oh here it is ooh and the suspicious looking eye I’ll take on the eye of cthulu as well whenever Night Comes okay I have a bunch of accessories that I want to combine so I’m going to head to the edge of the world and farm some Goblin Scouts for their tattered cloths to craft the Goblin Battle standard to summon the Goblin Army okay that’s enough tattered cloths let’s go ahead and summon the army Goblin Army has been defeated and now it is officially night time so let’s take on the eye of cthulu first and then we’ll head to the dungeon to take on Skeletron here we go all right that was pretty fast oh my God my projectile size too look at that they are for sure getting bigger little by little it’s been a while since I last check the level of the blade of grass so let’s check it now oh level seven okay 40 melee damage and 14% Critical Strike chance and now let’s take on Skeletron 3 2 1 oh my God my damage wait that hands almost dead oh done that hand’s done already same with this one come on just ahead now wait how many hits am I doing per click let’s see I think that’s that is three per Leaf projectile th000 more Health all done it is now at level eight and this weapon is freaking huge now that I have access into the dungeon let’s try to find the Cobalt shield and the mamasa okay the first chest mamasa already damn this sword is huge let’s see what has changed about this weapon oh I see so this reworked version of the merasa can produce a slash anywhere on my screen but the original version of the merasa can only produce additional slashes when I directly hit a monster and there’s the Cobalt Shield let’s mine down to Hell now for some hellstone to craft the volcano and to search for the goblin tinkerer okay found the goblin tinkerer let’s purchase rocket boot boots and the workshop now I can make Spector boots and the blue horseshoe balloon let’s build some NPC houses and then make my way back down to mine to hell okay finally made it down to Hell let’s start mining some hellstone okay that should be more than enough hellstone I mined 374 with the hellstone bars I’m going to craft the molten pickaxe the full Mol armor set and the volcano this weapon has a whopping 67 Mele damage 16% Critical Strike chance and originally this weapon creates an explosion upon hitting an enemy which deals double the hits but now not only does it have the effects from before it’s also able to shoot out a flaming wave it’s a bit sad that I won’t be able to use this for very long cuz now that I have all four weapons I am now able to craft the knight’s Edge Let’s put them into the alter and now I can craft the knight’s Edge come on give me a good modifier okay none at all that’s fine this weapon only has 39 melee damage which is a bit surprising it’s a bit low to be honest but I think the attacks will make up for it here we go 3 2 1 oh it for sure does and I believe the time of day also affects this weapon since it’s night time this weapon is a lot stronger but once it hits daytime then it won’t be as good let’s make use of the time right now to take on the wall of flesh while my Knight’s Edge is still pretty strong but real quick let’s reforge it and try to get Godly okay maybe Superior is good enough I just realized I don’t have a lot of money okay made it to the end of the world let’s drop in the voodooo doll to summon the boss here we go yeah this weapon is kind of insane oh my wait the amount of slashes just increased oh wait what level is this oh it’s only level two wait it did not do this wave before what it might be because it’s midnight right now okay no it’s not it’s only 3:00 a.m. well I’m not complaining let’s open up the treasure bag and see what I can get and nothing useful okay let’s see it’s almost more will my Knight’s Edge become less powerful yeah I was right now there’s only about one to two slashes and the wave is gone also the size of my weapon decreased but anyways now that I’m in hard mode Let’s go back to the crimson and break some Crimson Alters to spawn in the hard mode ores so we’ve got Cobalt or calcum and titanium okay that should be enough Cobalt Ore onto the or Calcom ooh and the traveling Merchant has arrived I’ll check out what he’s selling after I mine the orac Calcom okay that should be enough orac Calcom lastly the titanium and the traveling Merchant is selling ooh DPS meter and the life form analyzer and that’s enough titanium now I can craft the full titanium armor set and this is going to give a huge boost to my defense so from 28 to 52 let’s go up to a sky island now to farm some wyverns for their Souls of Flight so that I can craft myself a pair of wings okay that’s enough Souls of Flight and that’s enough feathers I can now craft demon wings perect perfect I should be good to take on the mechanical bosses now so let’s wait until night time to summon them okay it is officially night time the first mechanical boss I’ll be fighting is the Destroyer 3 2 1 go up to the clums up part oh what the heck just happened look at my damage per second 60,000 I pretty much just instantly killed the boss surely that gave me a crazy amount of levels level 12 wait I have to see those attacks again damn okay let’s summon the twins next will they get instantly killed just like the Destroyer let’s find [Music] out okay nope I’m still dealing 5,000 damage per second though okay that’s one down Jesus my attacks are huge and there we go twins have been defeated it is at level 14 now and lastly skeleton Prime oh my God just like that all three mechanical bosses have been defeated and it’s not even halfway into the night yet now that I have hollowed bars and all three Souls from the mechanical bosses let’s craft the pickaxe axe the Excalibur and let’s head back to the altar to craft the true Knight’s edge here we go go okay and everything has been reset back to level zero but let’s check out the attacks now woo okay so we’re doing two types of waves one purple one green and also two types of slashes let’s also check out the Excalibur oh I like that oh my God any special effects when I hit an enemy oh it summons out swords let’s head to the Jungle now to find the planta bulb and to mine some chlori ore also I think the Excalibur depends on the time of day just like the True Night’s Edge I do notice that there is a much bigger Aura around the sword and if I attack an enemy there are a lot more swords that come out oh there’s the plant bulb looks like I’ll be making the arena right above here and that should be enough chlori ore with the chlorite I’ll be able to craft the true Excalibur here we go 52 melee damage 19% Critical Strike chance and it looks like this oh the first swing shoots out five swords and the second one shoots out four so that’s nine in total and the size of this weapon is pretty big even though it’s at level zero okay the arena is all complete let’s break the plera bulb to summon the Boss 3 2 1 here we go healing a solid 1,500 damage per second second phase oh my God and clra has been defeated my True Night’s Edge is now at level seven there are a lot more slashes and the waves are 10 times bigger I would say anything useful inside this treasure bag uh doesn’t seem like it let’s enter the temple now to take on Golem okay made it into the boss room and to be honest I don’t think I’ll need to make an arena for this one so let’s just start it up okay just the body now all done I do have three more power cells but I’m going to save these for when I get my teror blade oh perfect and it just became daytime so let’s make the solar tablet to summon the eclipse [Music] and hopefully I’ll be able to get my hands on a broken hero sword okay here’s my first mothron and there wait is that it oh yeah there it is okay I think my true Excalibur is getting a little too strong now I mean just look at the size of this thing all right let’s craft the teror blade now boom who that was cool so this weapon has 76 M damage press and hold the right button to attack for a special attack here’s what the normal attacks look like and this is the special attack I don’t think I’ll be using the special attack as often wait matter of fact I can’t even use it anymore I’m right clicking but it’s only doing the regular attack that’s a bit weird let’s reforge this weapon okay I will take Godly on it all right let’s head back to the Jungle to take on Golem oh and there’s another planta bulb I might as well do that there we go quick update it is now at level 11 okay Golem time that’s one okay that’s two and that’s last one my teror blade is now at level 17 holy crap with 137 melee damage and 44% Critical Strike chance here’s what it looks like let’s head back to the dungeon now to take on the lunatic call test here we go oh my God how much damage am I dealing about 7,000 okay it’s time to take down the celestial pillars and it should be pretty quick because of these wide range attacks the waves are big enough to cover the entire right side or left side of the screen okay Vortex pillar is down now I won’t lie it is getting a bit Troublesome to actually see what’s going on there are too many particles on the screen and they’re so bright okay that’s the star pillar down two more to go solar pillar down now before I destroy the last pillar and summon Moon Lord I do want one more accessory and that is the master ninja gear so let’s head back to the dungeon to farm some bone Lees for the black belt and tabies there’s the black belt oh and there’s the tabby there we go the master ninja gear now let’s go take care of the last pillar okay let’s go get ready for Moon [Music] Lord there we go little eye first okay never mind um that hands down there goes the middle eye oh my wait both hands are down how much oh my God I am dealing 10,000 damage per second my ter blade is at level 31 that was too fast all right that’s all for this video I hope you all enjoyed in all honesty I think the reworked weapon with the signature equipment mod is a little too strong especially the knight’s Edge Excalibur and ter blade I mean without the power to upgrade weapons then yeah it would be totally fair but if you guys want to try
