Terraria Pylon Placements can be illogical ─ I can place these pylons on here but not on there???

Pylon is one of the greatest addition in Terraria 1.4. After all, this allowed you to teleport from town to town!… although that now means you have to build multiple towns over a stack of shoeboxes at the center of the world… Oh, and guess what, these pylons only work on their respective biomes… which can be a little illogical.
