hey there friends I’m so excited to be sharing this gameplay video with you today we’re building an elevator for the first time and we’re getting ready to take on hard mode as you may know building a elevator is crucial in pre-hard mode because it helps us avoid the corruption spreading and the monsters are easier to deal with but that’s not all once we enter hard mode by defeating the Wall of Flesh boss we’ll gain access to the new ores and the biomes that are necessary for our progression from our understanding building an elevator will help us locate these resources quickly and efficiently I just want to add a quick note that we’re not doing all of the necessary pre-hardmode prepping prior to entering hard mode we want to enjoy the game as naturally as possible without looking everything up online that’s where you our viewers come in we appreciate all of your comments and suggestions so keep them coming together we’ll explore all Terraria has to offer and have a blast doing it

you can find shadow keys in locked dungeon chests and use them to open the locked shadow chests in the underworld… the chest loot is mostly weapons but none of the melee weapons are as good as nights edge. range is considered to be the best class for most people because it allows you to dodge bosses without getting too close and has more defense than mage armor does. however, mage has crazy dps and can shred things very quickly, although you are quite squishy yourself. summoner class is for veterans, it has the least amount of defense you spend the whole fight dodging while your minions fight for you. finally, melee class, which is the one you seem to have gravitated to. melee has by far the most defense and allows you to tank bosses, so it's a popular option for newer players who haven't practiced dodging the bosses. melee had a huge buff in the past update that made it the 2nd best class in my opinion. Melee gets worse in the higher difficulties and i play master mode so i could be wrong. later in the game swords have projectiles which completely nullifies the close range disadvantage. late game melee is a very good option, so you should probably stick with melee. one word of warning, on early hardmode it can be hard to find a melee weapon in early hardmode, but you can use the hardmode ores. there are better melee weapons than the ore swords but this comment is humongous so I'll tell you when you get to that
If you press control button on keyboard you can auto mine blocks and not have to point specificly at them
Use a light shroomite digging claw. It is the fastest pic/axe in the game!
