Little addendum: The barrels have the same content in them, that is the number of items necessary to output on a comparator the decimal version of that place. For example if you had 4 nodes it would look like this (In order from closest to the lectern to furthest away)
15 -> 8 -> 4 -> 2 -> 1
I also messed up in the title, the max it can stack to is 4 nodes because the redstone dust max power is 15 (2^4 – 1)
