LEGO Phantom – Minecraft

What’s going on guys? My name is ZaziNombies, and today we are building one of the coolest (in my opinion) mobs and And one of the most recent mobs added into Minecraft This is the Minecraft phantom. And it was built with a wingspan of over fourteen inches wide. It was built with right around 330 bricks I use dark blue and dark tan. It’s got that kind of Manta ray-esque appearance with the large pectoral fins as well as the long tail right by its pelvic fins You can also see it has piercing green eyes, which I built with some Lego neon green pieces Then I used a black light, shone it from a distance just to light it up. I think it gives it a really cool effect This creation also has hinged wings to give it that sort of flying floating effect. In Minecraft The Phantom is the fastest mob in the game and it can move at a speed of up to 20 blocks per second Making it super scary to run with. It’ll only attack players that haven’t slept in over three days So definitely be sure to get your rest in Minecraft Here you can see these build techniques that I used to bring this mob to life I also built the Lego spawn egg for the Phantom and that was built with dark blue as well as lime-green Pieces and they give it a really fun Kind of pixely item. You can just make those with smooth tiles and base plates here You can see the bricks that are reactive with the blacklight. It’s the neon orange and neon green No other color seems to be as reactive as those ones So luckily the Phantom’s eyes were green And those just ended up working out. the Phantom is classified as an undead flying hostile mob and it was added into the 1.6 bedrock edition of Minecraft on August 28th 2018 after winning out in a vote versus three other mobs at Minecon Earth 2017 Also a fun fact about that event where the phantom ended up winning. Is that during the livestream some of my LEGO Creations and Lego videos were actually featured. So thank you so much to Minecraft. I’m glad that You guys enjoyed. So happy to build the Phantom to add it to our collection In Minecraft these phantoms will drop experience as well as phantom membrane Which you can use to make potions of slow falling if you can manage to take one of them down They have a really cool aesthetic to them with the blue and the tan and kind of the bone Back design, I think gives it a really neat Effect to it. And I built the tail with some Brown, dark tan, and regular tan. Just one by 1 Studs. So if you guys are looking to make your own Lego phantom This was built in eight different parts and definitely sort out your dark blue and tan just bricks, plates, and tiles That’s really all you need for the minecraft creations. You don’t need any Slopes or any specialty bricks or anything too weird. So there you guys have it. I hope you’ve enjoyed this Lego phantom Let me know in the comments your idea for the next Lego gaming creation. As always, thank you guys so much for watching. I do appreciate a thumbs up if you guys did enjoy and I’ll see you guys in another video with another LEGO creation.

The winner of MineCon Earth’s Mob contest, we bring the Phantom to life entirely from 330+ blue, tan and green LEGO bricks. Appearing in the 1.6 Bedrock Edition update of Minecraft, these high-flying manta-ray inspired undead hostile mobs were created first by the Minecraft team, and then voted to be officially added into the game by the Minecraft community. Custom built by me with glowing neon-green tiles for the eyes, and articulating flappable wings made with a sequence of moving hinged Lego parts, here is the real-life brick-build of the nocturnal night-riding creature itself: the Phantom.
