so you’ve ran out of things to do in minecraft really after all these years i’m sure you’re just being over dramatic there’s plenty that you can get up to in minecraft when you’ve got enough time to spare today you’re going to find 21 things to do when you’re bored in minecraft [Music] that’s right keep that world file don’t start playing fortnite there’s plenty left here for you that can entertain you for weeks so don’t go away number one practice your redstone there are so many things you can create but it takes learning a few basics and a lot of practice like any skill first start by making those basic circuits with repeaters comparators and redstone torches then begin to expand and combine your sheens with other blocks with functions such as pistons slime and honey to achieve another level of creations command blocks can also be used in conjunction with redstone which can be great for making your own adventure map or mini game number two earn all of the achievements there are a few obvious ones that you can finish during your time playing the basic game but certain achievements take a little and sometimes a lot more work to get like sleep with the fishes which requires you to stay underwater for a full day or master trader that requires you to trade 1 000 emeralds to villagers maybe even try adventuring time and find 17 biomes number three practice combat in an arena with the ever-changing combat systems in minecraft why not start building your own combat arena here you can try out all sorts of different terrain and battlefields test your strength against a bunch of different mobs and then maybe step up to fighting actual players why not give yourself a handicap only leather armor or first to get a kill with only a shovel the possibilities are endless polly go number five set up your own parkour course why not use some of those extra blocks to create an intricate parkour course for your friends to test out and try their skills on lots of things can be used for parkour not just blocks honey and slime are just two of the newest additions you can also utilize walls fences iron bars and trap doors ladder jumps are some of the toughest so why not throw a few of those in for the pros number 6 get a conduit the aquatic update added a lot of content so it might be worth revisiting your survival world and taking a dive to see if you can defeat all of the challenges below the waves kill some drowned find some ruins search for a pirate ship and finally come across an ocean monument where killing the elder guardian will reward you with the heart of the sea combine it with nautilus shells for a conduit that will buff you and attack enemies underwater or when it rains number seven invite friends to play you have friends right if not go to the forum check out some reddits eventually you’ll find a group of friends you can invite on and survive with the game is obviously better together with you being able to build up large towns and communities and much crazier things with double the hands let alone triple or quadruple that number you can even go up against each other in teams trying to survive or go to war against each other grind experience to level 50. why not make some more mob grinders dig for more ores the more you find the more experience you can grind kill the ender dragon and wither for some of the biggest xp bonuses with lots of xp you can stack lots of enchants creating incredible and crazy tools with lots of great effects number 11 build yourself a spleef arena forget football basketball or baseball everyone’s favorite minecraft sport is spleefing spleefing is a game where opponents use enchanted shovels to destroy the snow from under one another the last one to fall is the winner spleef arenas can be made from any normal arena as long as you clear enough space below for a drop space invite your friends if you haven’t pranked them to oblivion yet and have yourself a little tournament [Music] number 12 expand your house or build a new base maybe you’re bored of having your regular house layout going into the same rooms every day can be tiresome and boring and having the same view constantly might feel the same perhaps expand a little create some new floors and areas to change it up why not go for a whole new style and build a base somewhere else plenty of players have multiple of them are frequently updated and added to every week if you’re really tired of all the items blocks and mobs in the game why not get some more mods from dinosaurs to planes from new wars to advanced machinery pretty much anything can be added to minecraft with a mod pack they can extend your play session by hours [Music] number 14 play multiplayer mini game servers survival games skywars one in the chamber there are all sorts of online mini games and all sorts of online servers gang up with friends to take on the challenge maybe even meet some new friends along the way servers have everything from leaderboards to special tournaments competitions and rewards some servers even have entire communities of thousands of people like hypixel or 2b2t [Music] number 15 terraform the land or use world edit world edit is one of those mods we mentioned but one of the most widely used besides optifine using your wooden x-1 you can begin to change up and warp the land create entirely new those boring blocks into a more shadowy in-depth blocks and with a touch of improved lighting your world can go from dull to vibrant in a second there is also a ton of different types of shaders try
