hey why not try fishing in Terraria right go to the ocean catch on these worms on the ground using a bug net bought from the merchant and make a reinforced fishing pole from Iron Bars by fishing out the ocean you can get awesome crates but then you also have the chance for the Reaver shark and the swordtooth shark which are a great pickaxe and axe
The best place to go fishing in Terraria in my opinion (early game) is the ocean!

Lava fishing is better
As much as I like fishing ever since they patched the infinite bait bug making the flower boots useless I have never really gotten enough good bait
there’s this thing called a truffle worm; I highly recommend you use it!
The only time I actually fish in Terraria is when I play mage and fight Duke
The truffle worm is by far the best, greatest fishing power in the game!!! 🙌
